    you can live without it!

as much as I love the scent & the feeling while massaging it w/ my face... 10minutes after washing my face it felt oily. for that kind of amount I think I'll buy something else worth my money. ask for a sample before buying this product.

    Very good cleanser

I have sensitive skin since when I had a horrible sunburn on my face over 20+ years ago and I need a gentle moisturizer with extra emollient in it. The smell is great and could be viewed as a little strong on the citrus, but it makes my skin very smooth and doesn't feel like it's tight after I get out of the shower. The only thing that I dislike about the product is the shape of the jar and the morefact that it is made of glass. It heavy and ackward to hold or to even take the lid off. The base of the jar is almost too big for me to hold and then I scoop out a little bit and have to put the lid back on (and I put it back in the box). Then I can get in the shower. I do not need to use a washcloth, just use the balm and my hands. It cleans away all of any leftover make-up and my facial skin feels very refreshed even before I apply my mositurizer.

Smells Great and Removes Makeup Well

I don't have dry skin, in fact it's a bit oily, but I'm addicted to trying anything new in the cosmetics department. I hadn't used Bobbi Brown products in a while, so I opted to try the Extra Balm Rinse. The Balm Rinse comes in a very heavy glass jar. When I first opened the jar, I was a little put off by the texture. It was thick and greasy, like Vaseline. However, I was won over by the moreusy scent. I massage the balm into dry skin while enjoying the orange peel fragrance, I then rinse it off with a washcloth. It comes off easily, taking my makeup with it, and leaves my skin feeling soft and not at all greasy. I only use it at night. If you aren't a fan of citrusy scents, you'll want to steer clear of this product. But if you like oranges and don't mind a thick, balm texture, it's a very nice product. It's expensive, but you only use a small amount, so it ought to last for at least 6 months if you use it once a day. Once opened, the product is good for two years.

    Dry Skin Only

Great product for dry skin but very expensive. It removes make-up well and leaves your face feeling moisturized. I like to use this product in the winter - I find that I do not need a moisturizer after I use it. It works.

Balm Rinse is perfect for removal + cleansing

Typically I am skeptical of brands who claim that their cleansers are both true---down to the pore--cleansers and also makeup removers, but this actually rings true with Bobbi's Balm Rinse. It came as a surprise to me how WELL the cleanser went all the way down penetrating my pores and ALSO removing my makeup. This coupled with some of their other products makes for great, light, refreshing cleansing--that works.
