CLINIQUE SUPERBALANCED MAKEUP
Superbalanced makeup has always been one of my favorites! What I love most about this product is the natural finish. I currently use this product as my day time foundation as the coverage is perfect for every day use. It blends lovely and I would definitely recommend using a foundation brush for application as I find this is the best way to apply this product. I have read a few reviews mentioning the actual bottle that it comes in and I personally remove some of the product with a cotton tip on to the back of my hand and use my hand as a palette by removing the product and then applying, I find doing this also means I use less product too so little tip for you there! Even though I have dry skin, this foundation looked good and felt good on my face. Just doesn't have enough moisture for winter. I'm going to try it again when hot summer gets here. I think I will like it very much then because I won't need so much moisture on my face. Great product! I am lighter than NC15, and I bought in Breeze and for the first time in my life. NO MAKEUP LINE. I am impressed with this. I dont even have to really touch up during the day. Nice coverage, keeps oil at bay, and not too mask-like. The only gripe is the bottle, but even then it's a nice thick consistency so it just rolls out of the bottle so you just have to pour out a little bit onto a foundation brush or sponge. perfection! But this foundation gives a flawless full coverage matte finish. If you have problems with the staying power, set it with pressed powder. It helps to absorb the oil; it works for my every time i do that. I love this foundation. I have had no break outs using this and i have been using it for over a year now. Very good quality, and it looks very natural. Only problem is the packaging, not very practical, its glass, and product difficult to remove from bottle. But otherwise love it. Light to medium coverage. Slightly buildable but doesn't cover dark spots completely. Very thin formula when applied with a brush, product doesn't go far as my other creamier liquid foundations. I tend to use much more which is a bit wasteful. It does a nice job of covering pores, lasts most of the day but does tend to fall off my face toward the end of the day if I use a very light hand with it. I set this foundation with Clinique's loose powder foundation. Both leave my skin looking FLAWLESS and poreless. My boyfriend marveled at how airbrushed and pretty my skin looked. (Before, I was using MUFE HD foundation and NEVER received that sort of response from him). I actually was complimented at how pretty I looked and I the only thing in my routine I changed was my foundation/powder. I had/have acne prone skin and so far I haven't broken out with this product. I recommend this foundation if you're not looking for a cakey finished look or full coverage. Great winter makeup for dry/combo skin
I have very sensitive, allergy prone, dry combination skin that is also prone to acne (in my 40's). This makeup feels great! It does not contain fragrance or irritate my skin. It makes my dry cheeks feel great and does keeps my oilier/acne prone t-zone clear and matte. It provides a natural medium coverage, lasts, blends well, evens my skin tone relatively well, and matches my moderately fair skin tone very well at an okay price. It's decent but not wonderful
The pros of this foundation are the natural finish and the moisturizing qualities. Also a slight dewiness which I like. Unfortunately, I have to load it on to get good coverage and it tends to wear off quickly. Definitely Not Worth The Hype!

Best foundation I've ever tried!
I never really use foundation except under my eyes and on my rosacea like cheeks but if I did for my whole face it would be Clinique superbalanced makeup. Words cannot explain how truly wonderful this foundation is. I apply it every day to my dark circles and it hides them without making me look like I have pounds of cover up on. A little goes a long way under my eyes and also on the red areas of my face. The formula is smooth, blends well, and stays put all day long. Even if I'm out doing errands and sweating, it does not sweat or cake off. There have been instances when I have forgotten to take it off before a work out and under my eyes and cheeks still look good. It has always been hard to find a good foundation to cover up my red skin but this hides it without looking like I caked on a bottle of makeup. It does not make me break out and looks completely natural. Once in a great while I put a little on my entire face to have a different look and it wears naturally and beautifully. My friends have complimented me on my skin and say it looks so smooth. My bottles typically last me six months because I use it sparingly, but the value is worth it whether you use it everyday or sometimes because it's an amazing foundation. If Clinique ever discontinues their superbalanced line I will be devastated!! My first high-end
This was my first high-end foundation. I was browsing around Younker's and decided to head on over and get color matched by the Clinique gal. She matched me with "Ivory" and once I saw the full application on my face, I thought it was a little dark. I have oily skin, and I was hoping this would help me control my oils. It really did nothing great. It had a thin consistency and seemed more like a bb cream than a foundation. I wore it for a few days straight, it wouldn't last me more than two hours without looking insanely oily. It ended up breaking my cheek out and just made me feel like my skin couldn't breath. I should have just got a sample of this instead of spending $20-some. I've found a $3 NYC foundation that performs so much better than a double digit product. Wonderful coverage
I have very dry skin and my foundations seem to cling to my dry patches and wrinkles. This product is hydrating to the skin and does not settle in lines. The staying power without a primer for me is 8 plus hours. Coverage is light to medium but is buildable to full coverage without looking cakey. So glad I purchased this!
I have oily skin & it's hard to find a foundation that doesn't oil up throughout the day. Though this has a dewy finish to it, I have to say that I don't get oily with this! It truly is "superbalanced", it's amazing! It blends really well into my skin & has great coverage. It makes my face look flawless! I am done with the search for a good foundation! Alright on my search for a great liquid foundation I decided to try this. My biggest complain with this product was that no shade matched me well. The nude beige- although it first looked good on me- oxidized into a crazy dark orange color and made me look like an oompa loompa. I tried a shade down and it was too pink. Nothing really matched my light goden skin :/ Second complain is the packaging, the packaging is pretty bad. I really like the glass bottle...but alas no pump :p Thus you have to hold the bottle downward until the foundation finally decides to show itself. I don't find this very sanitary AND it wastes more product than you have to :p Onto the positives, the coverage is a nice medium, it definitely covered most of my hyperpigmentaion. Second the oil control on this stuff is pretty good. It kept me from getting oily as quick (although it did eventually happen) it was good oil control than other foundations have provided.
