I have never been into the bronzed look, only because I have medium skin that tans easily to begin with. I typically use bronzer to contour my face because it's round so I want to do everything to give myself the appearance of cheekbones. I have used many different bronzers, from the cheap drug store, to expensive brands. I'll admit that I'm a Nars FREAK to begin with--I know just about everything about the brand and its products. François Nars is one of my personal heroes. However, every time I was at Sephora, the bright floodlights in the store made the bronzers appear shimmery and I've never been crazy for shimmer. I think shimmer in bronzers are overkill, especially paired with a highlighter. In my opinion, shimmery bronzers are okay if you're using them alone. HOWEVER, in real light these do NOT look shimmery--you can barely notice it. In bright light, it looks more of a satin sheen. Regardless, I have the best selling bronzers in Casino and Laguna and they BOTH look incredible on ANYONE. They look so natural on any skin type and they're pigmented, so you don't have to use a lot (unless you want to). But point being, these bronzers will last you a LONG time. Casino is a bit darker than Laguna, with Laguna being the ultimate best seller. These bronzers are one more reason why I love Nars!!!! — 3 months, 1 week ago

This bronzer has the perfect amount of shimmer so my face looks matte but still has that *out in the sun* glow. The powder is a beautiful mocha color that blends with my skin easily and never looks like a dirt streak! I adore the packaging on all of NARS products and the giant mirror in the compact is awesome for touch ups on the go. This is a little pricey but definitely worth it because you get a lot of high quality product. This pan is going to last me ages! — 1 year, 2 months ago

I found my holy grail bronzer. I picked this one out after hearing so many rave reviews from almost everywhere. I needed a bronzer to take with me on vacation that would 1. Not look orange 2. Have the right amount of shimmer 3. Last long and 4. Look natural! Laguna fits perfectly. Not only is the shimmer light, it's gold shimmer so it gives me that perfect sunlit glow. It's not orange at all. It leans more towards brown and I love that about it. It does last pretty long to. The only cons can think of is if I put it everywhere, I can look a tiny bit Dewey but I like that. Just not on my forehead so I dust matte powder across my forehead and leave the rest alone. And the last con is if you want a matte bronzer, skip this completely. Let me tell you, I HATE shimmer all over but this I dont mind cause the shimmer is gold — 1 month, 4 weeks ago

Nars bronzer is one of the best by far, and for many reasons. At first when you notice the price you may have a tendency to move on, but wait, stop right there. Evidently you are in the market for a bronzer since you stopped to look, right? Well have a look…the colors look nice don’t they. So try one on. My personal recommendation would be to try Laguna. Yes, everyone raves about this color because there is a reason for it. First off it is quite natural looking. I have a medium skin tone and the color I get is the color of skin that happens once the sun has given me a soft tan. Now this is just one light application. You can just do your high spots or go all over your face with a blush or powder brush in a light airy fashion. If you are going over your entire face don’t forget to do your eyelid and brow area. Also do from your jaw and bend it out into your neck, other wise you will have a white neck. See…natural right? No orangey weird color or ugly streaks. You should also notice that when you swiped your brush on the product there was no powder flaking off being lost to the wind. The powder is very hard pressed. This is important in any powder product, as you will loose a lot if it is not hard pressed. Also the more fly away it is the more powdery it will be on your face and the less time it will stay there! So now you have a very natural sun tan with no strange color or streaks and have found you actually have more product that it looked like at first glance. Let’s look closer. Notice that there is no unnatural shimmer there. Yes, shimmer can be pretty but if you really want it you can use a product to give you a bit in a few places without having a whole face full of it, which is not attractive. Notice also that the color does not look flat. There is nothing more boring that a flat one-dimensional face. There is more of a very natural soft glow, but this is very subdued, the way it should be. If you want more color start with adding color just to your high points. This may be enough. If it isn’t then lightly, and I stress lightly, repeat your face application including the eye area and neck again. Watch out because what started out with a sheer color is going to build fast. Add a nice sheer lip color while you are standing there and top it with gloss if you like. Now, stand back and admire. What did I tell you, and you were about to walk away! The price of beauty just went way down didn’t it? Not so expensive after all. Plus it is going to last you a long time! — 2 months ago

What a gorgeous, sunkissed look this bronzer gives me, def my HG for bronzers. WIth that said I am not suprised that the color is so nice, NARS is known for their wonderful colors. I have blonde hair and medium toned skin and this bronzer is not obvious on my skin, it just gives me a nice warm glow. I use it for contouring under my blush, and my neck line as well as I put a little on the forhead, and nose to give me an alll over even look. Since finding this I don't even bother looking at any other bronzers any more. This shade truly is universally flattering, so give it a try, bet you'll like it! — 3 weeks, 4 days ago

I bought the bronzer and blush combination, the Laguna and it's very popular blush (can't say the word here, lol) First I apply the bronzer to contour my cheeks and then the blush to the apple of my cheeks. I just love the effect. The Laguna bronzer complements the blush perfectly. Love the bronzer, I could wear it alone without the blush and it's highly pigmented so a little goes a long way.
