Clinique Fresh Bloom Allover Color
I received this as a gift with a Macy's purchase for free but never really used it until recently. Man does it look nice! I'm usually very pale and and pretty golden since I am of east Asian descent, so normally, any blush on my face would look terrible. It would be too prominent, as if someone had slapped me. This is perfect, it is very natural and light weight, I would definitely buy it once I run out! I never wore blush or eyeshadow and never thought I would. However, I found this in one of the many Clinique GWP make-up bags I received from my mom that I had stuffed into my closet. I was messing around and decided to play with this. I was really surprised! I always thought of blush as a tacky, over-the-top kinda thing, but this really looked natural. I'm more *ahem* mature now, and thought a little color actually looked kinda nice. What's more, I tried the light shade on my eyebrow (orbital bone?) and was surprised again! It brightens my eyes without looking white/silver/disco ball tacky. Win win! I now wear both almost every day. Since I started wearing it I have received compliments about my face like I have a "nice glow" and I look "fresh." Hey, I'll take it! The sample size has lasted me months. I'm now preparing to shell out the $30 for the full size. I have never in my life spent that kind of money on make up. So I really like this stuff! Only negative is that it broke pretty soon after I began using it, mixing the colors a bit. I did my best to separate out one and put it in a different container, but it was a drag. Hoping that doesn't happen with the big one... I use a kabuki brush to sheer it out a bit and apply it to my apples, along my cheekbones, and to my temples to thin out my round face. I have to admit, it makes me look gorgeous. I get compliments all the time, and when I tell people im wearing blush, they all say 'no way! it looks so natural and real!' I have had this for 2 years and I'm not even half way done with it. Its only $30 and I'm pretty sure this will last me another 3 years. amazing value! The compact is so cute and chic, and the blush itself is beautiful. Clinique is usually a hit or miss for me, but what a great product! I will buy this again and again, and I totally recommend it! I really like this. The color is such a pretty pink color. It's the perfect cheek color for when I want something a little brighter than my usual nude/pink blushes. It works great with plum-y or red pink lip colors. I like the packageing, too. It feels sturdy and a little goes a long way. The shimmer in it is the kind a like, glowy. It doesn't emphasize pores which is a great plus. I'm about NC35 and shows up nicely. The only one of the 3 colors that actually worked for me. Great glow
I have this in peony and it gives me a great glow and a soft rose color. It is also a great value for the size that you receive. I did hear that this is being discontinued so it would be smart to buy it soon. Gorgeous Glow
I sweep this allover after applying my Laura Mercier silk Creme Foundation and it always gives me a flawless pearly glow. A perfect perk me up for dull colourless skin. So Awesome Words Are Not Enough!
I would give this 20 stars if I had the option. This has got be one of my most favorite products ever and is definitely on my "deserted island" list! My favorite of all the shades is Peony, although all of the shades are gorgeous. This not only works as a fabulous, natural looking blush but the lighter shade makes a great eyeshadow to apply all over the lid and browbone, as well as being an excellent highlighter for anywhere on the face. If they ever discontinue this product I don't know how I would replace it. Great Accent Color!
I tried a sample of this in Peony! It is light sheer and offers a slight sparkle. You dont even see the sparkle unless you really look. But what you do see is, a light burst of color ! Great if you insist a little
When i first used this blush(i have it in posy), i thought it was really awful. I have more of a medium coloured skin so i didn't see any difference between before and after. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it, until last week. I tried it again, this time with more product on the brush and insisted with the brush on the cheek. And finally a saw a difference. It's a really gorgeous colour if you insist a little. Perks up pale skin
I have to agree that this is a wonderful product. I got this as a sample in Peony and absolutely love it! It gives my fair skin a subtle hint of color without looking overly done. Great, but...
I bought this in Blackberry Bloom and was instantly in LOVE. It just added such a nice sheen, it was so natural looking but far prettier than any skin could look naturally. But NEVER put this in your makeup bag or travel with it. I put it in my bag and when I opened it, it was completely shattered. Turns out its not so durable. What a shame!! It was amazing, and sooo pretty. beautiful colors!!
This is a great blusher!! I love how you can adjust how light/dark you wear your blush depending on what side of the compact you use. The shimmer is just right, not overbearing.
