LOVE this shadow!
I got this shadow in Lucky Penny as part of a free gift with purchase and LOVE IT. The shadow is soft and goes on well, which I love. The color is FANTASTIC--it's a favorite of mine, especially when combined with the Touch Tint Shimmer in Gold Glimmer as a base. Decent length of wear although it does crease on me (I haven't found a shadow that doesn't yet. I use primer with Colour Surge shadow and it works great!) A decent amount of pigment, especially with the primer. Good quality and good product. Peacock - nice shimmery teal/green eyeshadow
I usually buy MAC eye shadows for bold colors, and soft/pastel color shadows from Clinique. I fell in love right away with the color "Peacock" when I saw it for the first time at a Clinique counter. I did not think it would work for my eye color (dark brown), but fortunately this is not pure green eye shadow. It is green-based with a hint of blue and gold. It comes with good pigmentation, but it is not too dark. It looks and feels nice on my eye lids. The color stays pretty well (it is even better with a primer). Unfortunately, I don't feel the same way with another green-based Colour Surge "Sparkling Sage" which I got free as a bonus item. It was sparkly & shimmery, but the color itself was too pearly for me. Super!
The colors are very pigmented and shimmery. They are silky, go on smoothly and last without creasing, flaking, or fading. The applicator feels nice and lasts. Lucky penny is a pinkish taupy beige and gourgeous. These shadows are very shiny, so beware, they do highlight wrinkles! The price is reasonable, especially during gift time. Sheer and sparkly
I purchased this product in Shimmering Sage. While I was thrilled to find a classy green shadow I could wear all over my lids, I wish it was more pigmented. This shadow is truly super shimmery and it's high quality: no creasing, migrating, wearing off, etc. I almost purchased it in Lucky Penny, but it wasn't pigmented enough to make my eyes really pop. I have always had a blue shade of clinique eyeshadow of one color or another, and the blue lagoon is sooo pretty! Very Metallic
Two of my favorite eye shadows are Super Shimmers. I love Peacock and Lucky Penny. Lucky Penny goes on beautifully, even without a base beneath it. Peacock goes on a lot more sheer. Nice product
I think almost all eye shadows are alike myself. I recently tried cliniques eye shadow and thought they were nice, the blue was too hard for me, felt like my eye's were too dark, but I'm use to Brown's on my eye's, more neutral colors. Great color!
I have this shadow in Blue Lagoon. It is easy to apply and provides really great color without a lot of product.
