Lasts in the tube, but not so much on your eyes

Just a tiny amount of this will provide full coverage for your eyelids up to your brow bones for an awake, bright look. I use 06 - Nude Sparkle for just that reason, and it works well. However, it doesn't last long on my combination-oily face (even though my eyelids aren't oily at all!), and I often have to reapply or use it in conjunction with eyeshadow powder or foundation to get it to "stick" better.

Good formula, poor colors

I love the formula...but the matte colors...perhaps one or two are just too flat and heavy. Very disappointing. The shimmer product has pretty colors and a better texture, but for those of us with "older eyes" the shimmer just isn't flattering.

good for certain looks

I have been using this off and on for several years. When it first came out, there were several colors to choose from. Now it's down to 2. The formula is perfect for me; mature skin, red hair, fair skin with some slightly red undertones. I use both colors and like them both. This really works well as a base or a subtle look and does a good job of neutralizing red. Staying power galore. Wouldn't recommend it to the younger crowd looking for impact. Great for the older girls.

Blech...

Didn't like it. Used it twice & stuck it in the Island of Misfit Cosmetics. Hardly any color shows, & it's so sheer as to be nearly non-existent.

Best with powder shadow on top of it

I love the sheer color these give to eyelids. I use it as a primer for a powder eyeshadow, and it's great .... keeps my eyeshadow put all day! However, when I wear it alone, it creases on me. If you get it, get a nude shade and use it as a primer.

ok, i'm a baby boomer, no heavy make up for me. but i want some eye shadow that evens the color of my lids and hides any redness. while there'are others in the market that are quite good, i find clinique's the "no eye shadow, just beuatiful eyelids" eye shadow.

Great as a base

I use the neutral color every day as a base and it helps my eyeshadow to stay on longer without fading or creasing. A little does go a long way so you don't have to worry about it being used up too soon.

Name says it all

I use the heather color and it can be used alone or under eye shadow which helps make the shadow stay on longer and not crease. A little goes a long way!

It is as advertised

This eye shadow does stay put. It is thick to put on. Too bad it does not come in more dramatic colors.

Excellent

I love this product. I use the Soft Heather, a taupey-plum, that highlights my green eyes beautifully. It glides on smoothly, without tugging, and does not crease. My only complaint is there are not enough colors in this cream formula. The only other color is Natural Suede, which is basically the same color as my fair-colored skin. It would make a nice eye shadow base though. They have a better se...read morelection of colors in the shimmer formula, however, I am in my forties and dont like the sparkle. If you don't mind more sparkle, then you can find more colors in that formulation.
