Nothing worse than finishing off your hair with your flatiron, and then having to sit and wait 15 minutes (or more) for the iron to cool before you dare put it in your suitcase or tote bag. This takes care of that. I've unplugged my flat iron (or curling iron), immediately put it in the cover, and slid it into my suitcase. No fears of scortching or burning clothes or the suitcase. The cord slips outside into its own little pocket, so you don't need to worry about melting the cord with the still hot flat iron plates. How did I travel without this? June 29, 2008, 11:25 am
