I've used Nick Chavez's products before and this is one of my favorites!! I have naturally thick, curly hair but when I straighten it, it becomes limp and dull. I first heard of this product on QVC and after watching the demonstration they did on their models, I had to try it! After purchasing it (at Ulta for $8) and trying it out, I was hooked!! I think it really lives up to the hype surrounding it. I love how it's a fine mist that sprays out evenly onto your hair as opposed to a spray pump that can be too heavy on one area of hair. I flip my head over and spray the underneath part of my hair first and give it a little shake and then turn my head right-side up and spray a little on the top to give it a little extra va va voom. THIN HAIR BEWARE - this is JUST what I have been looking for!!!

I first saw this product on QVC was hopeful that it would work on my thin, wavy, flat, do what it has it's own mind to do, hair. So I bought a can of it and also the hairspray. Did not care for the hairspray, but LOVED the Amazon Hair Body Building Spray from the first try. The first year I used it, I only put it on my hair after blow drying it and desperately trying to style it and get it to be full and fluffy. It worked great, better than I hoped for. Then, one day I wondered how it would work on wet hair fresh from the shower (imagine that...reading the instructions :) WOW! Admittedly, when I first sprayed it on my wet hair and tried to comb it, I thought, "Oh no! It's sticky! OH NO!" However I was committed, because I did not have time to rewash my hair...had to get to the office, so I pressed on. Words can't express how glad I am that I did! It turned out fabulous, and I don't say that lightly. The world's toughest self-hair critic lives here. It was full, soft, sexy, natural and perfect (or so I thought, and my husband, too)! He says I have Ava Gardner hair. Could it get any better??? Here I am, an executive, trying to look serious, but hopefully attractive, too, and my husband says something like that! Send me a case!!! So with nothing to gain, but hopefully, helping a few women (maybe men, too) that want to improve the way they look and feel about their hair, I truly hope you try this product. I carry a can in my traveling suitcase for work, in my office drawer, and, of course, in my bathroom drawer. On a serious note, when I was younger, I never really thought about my hair that much, except to wish it was this and that, and try to make it look stylish. The older I get, though, the less I care about what's in or out...what I care about is what looks good on ME. So, try this product, if you have thin hair, and see if you don't have more fun in the morning, leaving the house feeling good about how your hair, and spend the day confident that you look your best! I have never been disatisfied with any of Nicks hair products. I have long thin hair and I could spray my little heart out and never was my hair over moisterized or flat. Maybe the lady held the can 2 inches from her head! try holding the can alot further away......Hello — 3 years, 6 months ago

This spray does wonders for not only my hair, but my daughters, and sisters. It does not leave my hair feeling sticky as some find. Nor does it flaten after time. really does not work

I tried this product wet and dry and all it does is make it sticky and if you have wavey hair like mine it will go flat in hours leaving your hair looking awful would never buy again — 3 years, 11 months ago

I put this in my hair while blow-drying when my hair is almost dry.It adds lots of volume when worked into the hair not sprayed on top.It helps to have a layered haircut to really see the body-building effects. None of these body building products give big hair for more than a few hours but the added volume will still be there if you wash every other day.I also use hairspray when the hair is dry just to hold the look .Chavez products add really great shine to the hair . — 4 years, 2 months ago

Not as good as it sounds

The description on the can is far loftier than its real performance. I have long hair and thought this spray would add bulk and body....not. Just weighed my hair down and over moisturized my curls making them flat. Stick with his Volume spray gel for great results in lift and volume. — 4 years, 3 months ago
