disappointed
I have oily skin and NEED a primer. Tried this was hopeful that it would work for me, but ended up throwing it away as it did nothing to prime my skin, mattify my skin or control oil. I failed to use it on my lips as this is not a concern of mine. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

As Good as Smashbox
I've been using the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and enjoying it, but I was looking around for suitable alternatives since it is just so expensive. I don't have oily skin, so I can't vouch for whether or not it actually mattes skin, but this is the only one that I've tried that even comes close to what Smashbox delivers. it has that same silky feeling and it keeps my makeup on for my 12-hour days. I wait for The Body Shop to have their 50% off sales and then use my Love Your Body card to get another 10% off. Add some more coupons and my points bonuses, and I wind up paying only about $4 for this, so it really is a great deal for a great product. So if you're also a member of the Body Shop's Love Your Body program, you should pick this up on your next trip over, it's not a huge money commitment. — 2 weeks, 3 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I actually adore it
I'm a fan of silicone and gel primers rather than lotions as I feel they work better for my combination/normal skin, this makes concealer and foundation application an absolute breeze and I really enjoy using it, I haven't used it on my eyes too often as I don't like the idea of primer gunking up my lids, and I can imagine it would have an odd effect on the lips, nevertheless I love it for my skin — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
