Overpriced
Sadly, This oil I have found is much weaker than other tea tree oils that you might see when shopping in a health foods store or in an organic market. In this case i think you are really just paying extra to get the body shop label. While that is one of my favorite stores for all of my skin care and beauty needs, I just could not see that their tea tree oil even compared to that which is cheaper elsewhere. The consistency of their oil seemed a bit watery as compared to other tea tree oils that I have used, and the scent of the oil was not nearly as strong-- and please believe me, if you have ever smelled tea tree oil, you know exactly how pungent it can be! I did not find the results of this oil to be on par either. It actually made my skin red, and did nothing to improve my skin’s clarity or texture. Overall I am a huge fan of using natural oils and herbs in beauty products, and can say that most of the products you will find at the body shop are worth the higher price tag. Unfortunately, this oil is not one of them. You will pay a higher price for an inferior product and reduced performance. Love it!

Buy elsewhere
I bought this when I was having some issues with my skin. After I was using it for about 3 weeks, my skin started to become irritated from using this product. Yes, this does help with calming some pimples, but it is not worth the irritation. The amount of tea tree oil you are getting from the bottle is really not cost effective. Got acne? Tea tree your pillow!
This stuff is great to apply directly to the zit to dry it out and make it shrink, but it can be harsh and cause redness, i wouldn't recomend it to sensitive skinned folk. great spot treatment
I use this product the minute I feel a zit coming on. If you use it right away, before it fully erupts through the skin, it will dry it up quickly before you get a huge ugly pimple without drying out your skin. I also like that this is a natural product that doesn't contain a bunch of chemicals or artificial ingredients. Miracles do happen!
I don't consider myself acne-prone, but when I do get pimples--it's those nasty, painful, underground ones. Either that, or the big, conspicuous ones on the surface. After using tons of drugstore stuff, and none of it working, I decided to try out Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop. I like the fresh scent, and just a dab with a q-tip is all it takes for my pimples to be drastically reduced overnight. Just another day and it's all gone. Only for the oiliest skin
This tea tree oil has its strengths but the main ingredient is alcohol so it can be very drying and irritating. When I caught a pimple early enough and applied this product to it, I did notice a significant reduction in the severity of the zit, and the time it took for it to go away. But along with that was dryness and flaking. So I think this is really only an option for those with very oily skin. Perfect!
I have sensitive skin, but this tea tree oil is both gentle and effective for blemishes. As soon as I feel one coming, I dot on a couple of drops, and that surface pain lessens, as well as the appearance. It's $9.00 a bottle, but lasts for a very long time. I've had two bottles for 5 months, and some is remaining, which should last another month or so.
