I didn't want to buy into Proactiv's aggressive advertising campaign.....

I'm 34 and have been dealing with adult acne for 2 years. I've always used products geared toward acne control all my life to control the occasion flare up. When I entered my 30's my skin went crazy. All the things that made my skin look good stopped working. Even though I (and everyone else) was bombarded with Proactiv commercials I refused to try the products. I tried them in my early 20's...read more and wasn't impressed. I went to the dermatologist and after two years I really wasn't seeing much improvement. The prescription products were very drying and I didn't like the way my skin looked. I've been using the Proactiv system for about 2 months with significant improvement. I use step 1 in the evening (Clinique liquid cleanser in the morning), I rarely use step 2, and I use step 3,the repairing lotion in the AM and PM before my Clinique moisturizer or serum. I may have the occasional pimple come to the surface but it's not as severe and the proactiv products help tremendously. I know it doesn't work for everyone and a lot of reviews on this site had deterred me from making the purchase. I'm so happy I did, The only downside is that to be a member and get better pricing you have to agree to their automatic shipping. You can opt out but their customer service team gives you a hard time which sucks.

Proactiv Repairing Lotion...

I absolutely LOVE my Proactiv Repairing Lotion so very much!;)! ((*.*)) Every since I have started using the entire kit of Proactiv, my complexion has REALLY improved. Works great

I have horrible acne, but once I started using Proactive my skin really cleared up. It take a minute for skin to get adapted, but once it does you'll see a difference. At least that's the way it worked on my skin and I have very sensitive skin. So I would definitely give the repairing lotion a try. Because I have sensitive skin I only use the repairing lotion once a day.

6 days use

I have now used this as directed for 6 days and have noticed more breakouts in other areas I normally dont breakout in and it seems to be drying my face out. Will use it for another week and let you know

not impressed

I used this product after seeing the commercial with all the celebritys endorsing this product. It didnt help improve my skin nd it smelled bad. The instructions state to use it under makeup as a mosturizer but its greasy once applied to face. I didnt like this product and think the claims about this product are false.

Love for Your Face

I use Proactiv Solution products twice everyday-once when I wake up and once before bed. The Proactiv repairing lotion is a great product. I makes your skin feel smooth and clean without any greasy feeling and smells nice. It's a very pleasant product to apply to your face.

proactiv repairing lotion works

i had severe cystic acne and have tried everything over the counter and by prescription and other than acutane ( which eventually cleared everything up) the proactiv system was the only topical treatment that worked without severely drying out or irritating my skin. because my skin was so bad it didnt completely clear up my acne but it not only worked better than anything else i tried but it made ...read moremy skin soft and even toned and caused no irritation. the lotion itself is light and not greasy at all. i used it all over my face and it healed my blemishes and prevented new ones. for anyone who is trying everything in the stores to clear up their acne i suggest you stop buying everything out there and just try this you will notice a difference in one month with full results in 3 months. **just be careful because the active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide which will wreck your good towels

works great for me..service-eehhh..

ive used the procativ system for years now.. ive gone on and off the products to try out 'drugstore' brands and nothing has worked as well as Proactiv Solution for me. my dermatologist has recommended numerous skin regimens before in place of using proactiv, all of which caused my skin condition to get worse.. now i stick with what i know works and will probably not switch again. the only drawback...read more are the shipping fees, and non-professionalism of the reps working the mall kiosks which make is a hassle to buy, if ordering outside your monthly shipment.

Works on my skin

I do not use this everyday. I use this ever so often when I break out. It really helps with my few breakouts. It works for me. I do not recommend the cleanser or the toner, too harsh for the skin. I believe proactiv may have a new and improved line. I haven't tried the new and improved one, so I am not sure if it is a lot more gentle then the original one.

Amazing!

This is the only thing that cures my breakouts. DON'T PUT THIS ALL OVER YOUR FACE!!! You put where the breakouts are and thats it. Amazing, after two days all my breakouts are gone and stay gone. This product is a miracle worker! :)
