No good
Worked for a bit, but then your skin just gets immune to it and your pimples come back worse than ever! Also might be a little too harsh for anyone but teenages with oily skin. Mild but effective
I have mild to moderate acne and have been using the Proactiv system in combination for several years. It really works well and is high quality. I use the repairing lotion once a day, and it really helps to keep breakouts at bay. It's mild enough that it doesn't dry me out too much--I have combination skin so I just apply the lotion in the T-zone to avoid unwanted drying. It feels nice on the ...read moreskin and doesn't have much of a fragrance. Keep in mind that it isn't intended to be a moisturizer, though. Not for sensitive skin
ProActiv's claim that it's products are gentle is simply not true. I have sensitive skin and when I used the system I had to stop after a few weeks because it wasn't curing my breakouts, and my skin was very dry and peeling (even though I was using their moisturizer). The BEST!!
This is the most important part of the 3 step system. My face feels so clean and fresh when I use this and I don't break out anymore. I think the reason a lot of users have a problem with this is because it is powerful so you obviously need a moisturizer too, if you don't moisturize your skin will overcompensate and produce more breakouts and oil. Clears the skin in days!
This lotion works wonders for me. Whenever I see the hint of a breakout, I apply a thin layer of this lotion. Within days it clears the blemish up. Works great for me

Pro Active
I've tried Pro Active off and on since I was 14, (now 18). This product simply doesn't do the job it advertizes to do. It cleared my skin a bit and did help close my pores but left intense dry patches that began to pill on my chin and cheek areas. Extremely frustrating.
