Multi-tasking
luckybetty (880 reviews)I purchased three or four nail blocks from a dollar store in the past. But they were all small and either too hard or too soft. This Body Shop one comes in a nice size, and it is not just a nail buffer, rather a multi-tasking tool. It files, removes ridges, and polish my nails. This block makes my nails look neat, shiny, and healthy. The sandpaper like surfaces become less and less effective over time, but still it lasts several months for me. BTW, a few months ago my friend recommended me, Seacret Nail Buffer, which she got it at a mall. A Seacret buffer gives my nails the best shine, but it is way overpriced, and I feel that it makes my nail much thinner (also, I did not like a pushy sales person. Thus, I keep this Body Shop one. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not Great for Frequent Use
DayDreamer (4 reviews)I loved this for the first few months I had it, but after a few months (I'd guess about 2-3) of weekly nail buffing, it just no longer did the trick. If you're not using it too often, it might last a bit longer (except for maybe the nail file side), but if you like to do a weekly manicure, you'll probably end up disappointed. You also have to be careful not to file your cuticles when removing ridges or shining your nails, so you can really only use half to the two wider sides, unless you don't mind buffing your knuckles. — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
