I swear by proactive products for the most part. I've been using them for over 10 years. This advanced blemish treatment is great for the regular pimple. I can notice a difference the very next day. However, if you have one of those deep down pimples (the kind that's deep under the skin and really painful), it doesn't work very well. I find putting a dot of the refining mask right on the pimple b...read moreefore bed and leaving it on over night works best for the stubborn ones. If you get a lot of those types of pimples, I wouldn't waste your money on this product. Some people mentioned experiencing dryness and flaking with proactive products. I've found that you really have to find the right combination of products for you. They now have a line out for super sensitive skin. Great product

Not worth it
Proactive is expensive and a hassle. I am inclined to dry skin and acne and so far the past year and a half it is not doing me much good. I used the whole 3 piece kit every day and the directions say to use it twice a day. I can only use it once a day as otherwise I get actual flakes of skin coming off. It is very harsh. I love this product
I have been putting this on new pimples before bed and when I wake up they are already going away. It prevents them from going full circle and keeps my face clear. Not worth the money
As with all other ProActiv products, this will do the job, but there are many other OTC products that will work just as well. ProActiv seems to dry my skin ALOT anyplace where the product is used - and not just the treatments, but the wash, etc. - so if you have dry skin to begin with, use only once a day or even every other day or you'll be a giant walking flake.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful
