Hope for older women with breakout problems
I love Philosophy- but couldn't use the Hope in a Jar because it would occasionally cause break-outs on my combination skin. Then I found Hope in a Bottle! NOT A moisturizer PEOPLE! Its for ACNE!!!!
This is not a moisturizer, so writing a bad review for something because you’re too stupid to read what it is your buying does not make sense. Also it does not smell like anything other then lavender, that other reviewer is stupid as well! Anyways...I have always had bad Blackheads. I have tried everything to get rid of them, extraction, pore strips, and every type of salicylic acid known t...read moreo man. I finally did some research and found very few products have a low enough PH and a high enough salicylic acid concentration to allow for effective exfoliation of the inside of the pore. This was one of the few that had all the ingredients with the correct setting to do so. I started using this a month ago, and since then I have almost no blackheads! No pimples and smooth skin. I do also use The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash which does help exfoliate as well, but this stuff is truly amazing! a blessing for acne
i DESPISED moisturizers until i tried a sample of this. it does not have a slimy, greasy feeling whatsoever. it dries almost instantly, and i have now implemented it into my regular skincare routine. if you have oily skin, and hate anything greasy coming anywhere near your face, this is the product for you.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Hmmmmm
This is a good moisturizer for oilier skin types and it may help clear up break outs. BUT there are tons of moisturizers that do this just as well and much cheaper, like Olay or Neutrogena anti-wrinkle anti-blemish. Really Refines My Oily, Uneven Skin!
I purchased this product about 3 months ago and I love it! I use it both in the morning and at night and I haven't had any blackheads or major pimples since I began using it! The bottle seems smaller than most moisturizers that I purchase, but let me tell you, a little goes a LONG WAY! not my solution.
I've been using this product for about 2 months now and have noticed my face doesn't get as oily but I still can't leave the house without my oil blotting sheets or my mineral veil. Oily, combo, acne prone skins should try this out!
I love how even this makes my skintone. I have combination-oily skin, and it really helps to even out my texture and helps get rid of red blotches. The smell's a little gross, but who cares, once this exfoliating lotion hits your skin, it glows! A little bit goes a long way... so it is a great value. works wonders
Hope in a jar is too heavy for my skin, but this was amazing. The first time I used it was before bed and my skin was noticeably clearer and glowing the next morning. smelly
