Vastly over-rated.
For me it made my skin look blothcy and I ussed it as a powder over foundation and it made small and large imperfections magnatized!! I took it back to Sephora. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

The brush doesn't help....
I tried the brush with the Bare Minerals foundation and it still does not work for me. I have combination skin and "peach fuzz" and the foundation sticks to my peach fuzz and nothing else. Not very blendable. Just not for me! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love!
I love this product, but you have to learn how to use it. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the right amount of product for the finish you are looking for. Also, make sure that you try different colors and finishes (matte may work for you better) and look at the product on your skin under natural lighting - as well as regular lamp lighting. As far as the product itself - it doesn't clog my pores, gives me a natural finish, and is long lasting. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 12 people said helpful

Find the right color for your complexion!
Once I started using the right color for my skin tone, I never looked back. bareMinerals is the foundation for me! It never clumps and the coverage is supreme. This make up lasts all day and gives you coverage without that "made up" look. You can't beat the value when you find the kit with several products that suits your lifestyle. Thank you, BE, for making me feel BEautiful! — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 13 people said helpful

Oily Mess
I've tried this product 3 different times. Each time thinking I'm doing something wrong because it shouldn't look like someone rubbed an oily pad across my face after using it. I can't seem to find the right combination for this product so I've given up. The other icky thing about this is that it seems to "sit" on top of my skin. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 8 people said helpful

Gives mineral makeup a bad name.
i LOVE mineral foundation, but i hate this brand. The original formula of Bare Escentuals was sickeningly shiny (they call it luminous) and accentuated every bump and blemish. The matte formula was a step up but still nothing to write home about. The brushes are HORRIBLE, I'd rather use a brush from the 99 cent store than use this brush, it irritates my skin, makes it itchy and applies the foundation like crap. My holy grail of mineral foundation is Larenim, sold at health food stores and yoga dens. I never thought a makeup i could buy at my local health food store could be so wonderful, try it, you won't regret it. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Waste of money
I thought this would work great for me but it lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Their whole line is so terrible for both mine and my moms sensitive skin. Not only that but it made me look years older than I am. I will stick with other brands and sensitive skin ladies beware! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Don't need BE anymore!
The flawless face brush gives a poor application of the product. Whuch is why, I never became a fan of it.Also, the powder foundation is quite messy. And, it is also time consuming to get it to look decent on the face. After having products from this line on and off over the last 10 years, I recently decided that I will not be purchasing anymore BE products. As,I personally feel that my skin would better off using Everyday Mineral products products. Every Minerals products offer better quality and their products don't have potentially harmful ingredients in them either. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Bare Minerals Foundation
I didn't realize how sensitive skin was until I used this product. As soon as I put it on my face started tingling and itching all over!. Did some research and found that it was somewhat common and that Titanium oxide (which is added for spf) was ost likely the culprit. It definitely is not "pure and suitable for sensitive skin" like it promises! — 8 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Great for Oily Skin
I went through several foundations but when I found this I stopped looking. I have sensitive oily skin which makes it hard to find products that work but this does wonders. Just make sure to put on primer first, I use Smashbox Photo Finish Color Adjusting Foundation Primer (it's green), and it will last all day. Also it is a good idea to put this on before you put on your clothes for the day since it can be kind of messy, before you get used to using it, because it is a loose powder. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
