Didn't bubble up - What the heck!
"Cream Bubble Bath"...doesn't that sound lovely? I admit to being entirely suckered by the mere sound of the name of this product. You scoop the stuff out--it's a thickish cream, not unlike the consistency of the body souffle--and plop it under running water. And that's where the magic ends...no bubbles appear. SAD! It scents the water slightly, but not nearly as strongly as I like, which is too bad, because the scent is divine. So disappointing!
I was so excited to try this bubble bath. I usually love Origins products, and it smelled so good in the jar. I followed the directions exactly, scooping up a handful of the product and holding it under running bathwater. Still, the product didn't dissolve! I got a few bubbles and lots of goopy, stringy soap blobs floating in the water. I even tried mixing the bathwater vigorously with my hands, to no avail. Worse still, the aroma wasn't nearly strong enough once the product was in the water--just a faint trace of scent. Heaven in a jar!
This product is a little different than other bubble baths in that you don't pour it into the bath - the cream is so thick you have to scoop some out in your hand and hold it under the running water. It is worth it! You don't need much to create a thick layer of dense, foamy bubbles in the tub. Ginger-citrus scent is so intoxicating!
