Before it came in a jar and seemed worth the price but new packaging has you paying more for less. Even with the price increase I still buy it because it's the only thing that softens my husbands feet. The best solution to dry, chapped, cracked lips & tired, puffy eyes.
I have very oily skin, so I don't use it as an all over moisturizer, but I have been using this for over a decade for my chronically dry, chapped & cracked lips AND for tired, puffy eyes. Tried and True
I've used this product for 25 years plus. It works best for very, very dried skin/areas such as bottoms of feet and elbows. What I like best is doing a "Satin Scrub treatment" where this product is used with a scrub and a cleanser on any part of the body but esp the hands or feet. Cure for gardener's hands and luau feet!
I'm a really low maintenance gal, and I like to play hard. My hands can show it, especially dry or busy times of the year. If your skins ever cracks, you know it hurts like heck! Way too thick!
I don't know how anyone could put this on their face. It's like slapping on Crisco. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration...but not much. Very, very thick. I've used it on my hands at night and find that it's still sitting on top of my skin come morning. Used for feet...maybe. Worth the Money

moisturizes, but greasy
This is a great moisturizer for extremely dry skin. It is greasy and tends to stain my sheets at night. I use it on my hands and feet at night, covered with gloves and socks-you wake up with super soft skin. Add just a drop to an exfoliator in shower for super soft legs, knees, elbows.
