Yes its messy, but its sooo worth it! Just a small amount does such a great job that the effects last for 2-3 weeks, so I only have to use it once or twice a month. This does exactly what it promises. This is a serious body scrub intended to slough away dead cells leaving fresh new skin. I have never used a scrub more powerful and a little bit can go a long way. It is not a scrub you would not use everyday so even though it is pricey, it will last a long time. Most scrubs I find work better if I apply them dry to create friction but not this one. This foams in the shower and works best on wet skin.
