The slight sting will be worth it...
Good masque... it does absorb the impurities but at times it can be over-drying. I use it during the summer and before my cycle starts since that always makes my skin more oily. I have combination, sensative skin but this masque has not given me any trouble save one time when I used it in quick succession following Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme masque. The tube will last you as all you need is a light layer. Did nothing!

I used this mask years ago, when you got it at the new Origins counter at Filenes. It was perfect for my sensitive, but oil/acne prone teen skin. I stopped using it as my skins main issues developed into Rosacea. Even so, I still get that oily, first heat of the summer, feeling and I gave it a try (from an Origins shop!). It worked great, I knew to apply it carefully and evenly to skin that I have prepped with a wet, warm towel. The results were near perfect. I did experience a bit of residual dryness around the nose. Amazing!
I love this product!!!!! I put it on once a week before a shower, leave it on for 10 minutes and just wash it off in the shower. It draws out all the blackheads and leave my face feeling really smooth. There is a reason they use charcoal for poison control, its amazing!
This is truly my favorite mask. Yeah its kind of scary when you first put it on because it really tingles, but that is because the active charcoal is doing its job. It truly cleans everything out of your skin. Your skin is soooo much brighter after one use and magnificent every week. It is perfect for breakouts for men and women, Use is before bed on pimples and prepared to be amazed! Best mask ever
I have extremely oily acne prone skin and this is the ONLY mask that has ever helped. I use it when my skin is starting to act up and it helps to clear up the trouble spots over night. You will notice a few little whiteheads the next day, but that's good. It means the mask has done it's job and cleaned up the pores and dredged up the trouble causing blockages.
