Good stuff
I really like this eyeshadow, I was basically told to buy this eyeshadow in two shades I don't remember the name but it was a deep violet blue and rose that go together so well. Not a bad product
I haven't been able to use many Mary Kay products because of the level of fragrance in the products. I tried the eye shadow years ago and didn't like, but I recently tried some samples of the signature eye color. This time around I had no issues with the fragrance in this product. Yay for those of us with sensitive skin! The color palette is outstanding, as are the duos. I got Tutti Fruiti after loving the sample card. The orange sherbert color might seem out there, but when combined with the pink side it creates a very wearable, soft peach-pink that is infinitely wearable on any skin tone, especially fair skin. Perfect for a romantic date or casual get together. The staying power is also pretty good when used with a primer. All Day Wear!
I really enjoy my Mary Kay eye color! I bought over a year a go the whole Mary Kay eye Shadow Palette and i love it! I think it has more than 50 colors from nudes to brights and they go on so smooth and stay on all day! I love how cute and portable this is! I also love the color choices and how smooth and flawless it is when it's on your eyelid. I think these are fantastic! You Get What You Pay For
This is an example of, for the most part, getting what you pay for. Though they're not the cheapest eye shadows around, these are pretty inexpensive; the quality can be summed up by this, as well. Though the Mary Kay shadows are a bit nicer and probably stay on a bit better than most of the super-cheap ones I have tried, they definitely leave something to be desired. It takes several coats to get enough color on for me, and I don't even like really dark or heavy eye shadow, so this should tell you something. I tried some of the darker and lighter shades, and it was obvious that it wasn't the shade that made a difference - it was really hard to see as much of it on my lids as I wanted, regardless of shade, or even number of coats applied (though multiple coats do help a little). There seems to be a lot of filler material rather than actual pigment in the shades. It also comes off easily. Only an hour or two after I have applied the eye shadow (I have oily skin) most of it had seemed to come off. In other words, it's better than most of the cheapest options, and better than nothing, surely, but isn't high enough quality for what one might desire. Sufficient for very subtle looks and for those not looking to spend a lot of money, or for younger customers learning how to apply and wear makeup.
