Good Starter Brush Set

These brushes are good for someone who is just beginning to use makeup. The only one I didnt particularly care for was the powder brush. It tends to shed and is a bit too stiff for me. The other brushes are good for the price, who can beat the price right?! Plus they come in a travel size so its great for when you travel or to keep in your purse for touchups throughout the day. For me, I think brushes are something to invest in because they should last a long time and brushes can really make a difference when applying makeup. If you want great quality brushes, try MAC, Smashbox or Nars. — 1 year, 3 months ago

I usually don't like mark products, sue me. But this little brush set is amazing. It's portable, the hairs are soft and don't stick out every which way, and they apply makeup evenly. Also they're cheap! Even after scrubbing them clean every other week, none of the hairs have fallen out and they continue to perform. Don't waste $20 each on department brushes that do the same thing (I'm looking at you, Sephora!) when you can get this set for less. — 3 years, 3 months ago

It fell apart.....

don't be fooled by the reviews! this brush set might be adorable and convenient (as all mark products are) but it WILL fall apart! mark will refund your money or send you a new product if you are dissatisfied, but it is hardly worth all the hassle... I was a mark representative for a while until I realized most of the mark products are majorly lacking in quality. I sold this set to several girls and I know for sure at least 2 of them had problems with the bristles falling out and the handle of the large powder brush popping right off! and I'm talking about within a few weeks of use. I sent it back for them and eventually received new ones which quickly fell apart as well. I'm not sure why all the reviews are so high.. my guess is they are by current mark representatives... they want you to buy it, obviously. I just couldn't stand behind the products anymore. Sonia Kashuk has a purse brush set available at Target stores for $12.99.. a MUCH better value! — 2 years, 1 month ago

i was looking for mini brushes to bring around with me and came across this. i was a little hesitant about it at first, but when i got them..i loved them! they're really great quality, really small and great to use on the go. i think it was totally worth getting these brushes. its great how it comes with a tiny travel case as well. i bring it everywhere in my purse/bag! — 2 years, 7 months ago

this is the best tiny brush set ever.
