MAC does it again :)
msbrown822 (190 reviews)I am skeptical about liquid foundations because I have oily skin so I thought they would only make it worse. I was using a drugstore brand for a while, mostly because it was cheap and it got the job done (daytime- for work) and if I needed heavier coverage I would use the MAC Studio Fix Powder. So one day while visiting my boyfriend- I completely forgot all of my make up. So we went to the Mall and I purchased this product. The sales person matched me almost too perfectly and did my entire face. It was like second skin. She applied a thin layer and it was like I wasn't wearing make up at all. I still had some scars from acne which were not as visible (and I could just cover with concealer), but I remember that the told me that it was build-able make up. I use it everyday now, am I'm still in love. It evens out my skin so much that I don't know why I waited so long. The only negative thing about this is that you have to purchase the pump separately. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

So sad...
MLC512 (272 reviews)I decided to give MAC's foundation another try and yet again, I feel like for the money, it wasn't worth it. This foundation, to me, is comparable to Revlon's Color Stay. The girl at the counter gave me a color and made me look sallow or yellow. I took it back and decided to stick with Revlon until I can find something better. — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Airbush Bottled
Starluxe (298 reviews)While I'm nagging my best friend in the whole about my own personal issues, having dinner with the family, working the club dancefloor, or striding along the mall floors, my makeup stays put. Studio Fix fluid has been a foundation that makes me a glamorous vixen converted from an ordinary girl next door. First of all, this foundation isn't going to melt off the face if set with a blot or loose translucent powder. Many people tend to forget that patting some powder on top of foundation is like baking cake, without the dough, you just have raw soup. This can be sheer to opaque in coverage so it can used everyday to just that one night with that one cute guy that you were making your cousin talk to at the wedding reception. One of the benefits is that it is oil free. For 1 oz. you can stretch this anywhere from two to seven months depending on how much coverage needed or usage. For $25.00, I consider this a mid range high end cosmetic that had delivered me better results than even more expensive brands. But let's talk about the cons, shall we? This doesn't photograph completely well, it does brighten the areas where it's applied so a white flash from a camera can result in a shade or two lighter than what you see in a mirror or regular daylight. The trick to counter this is applying a light dusting of bronzer to the outter areas of the face such as a quick dust on the forehead, temples, cheek hollows, and jawline. Be careful not to apply so much that it looks unnatural, just a couple light strokes will do. Next con, no pump. It's more sanitary to have a pump for a foundation so there are no messes spilled from the bottle nor is air exchanging bacteria inside and outside the bottle. A pump can be purchased, however, separately for this. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 14 people said helpful
