mark Snap To It Custom Color Palette - Mini Reviews

good idea, okay execution
I really like the idea of these palettes--refillable, less waste than traditional packaging for eyeshadow. However, the applicator is just okay, and the mirror is handy but very small and narrow. I do like that you can see through the case to see which shadows are inside. The palette is made of decently thick plastic, and seems to be of okay quality. I personally haven't had any problems with it falling apart, even after more than a year, but I don't use them that often since the quality of the shadows is just okay (but that's another review altogether). — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sloppy & messy!
I order the snap to it palette and took it on vacay with me, unforunately it didn't wear long and the product was very sloppy and messy. Horrible, even with my shadow primer. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

so not worth it.
I used to be a mark representative... until I realized how lacking in quality most of the products are. I know the snap to it palettes are appealing because they seem so cute, convenient and fun.. and if they were made properly they would be amazing.. but not only is the makeup itself the equivalent of wet 'n wild (nothing... against wet 'n wild at least they charge a fair price for their items), the compact is so cheaply made it WILL fall apart within a month of use.. incredibly cheap adhesive leads to both the mirror and magnets (which are used to hold onto the powders) to fall off and they aren't easy to re-stick. the brushes that come with it are a joke.. the low quality synthetic bristles come out at the slightest pull. the ONLY redeeming factor to mark is that they allow you to return products you are dissatisfied with... but it is time consuming and you have to get your representative to do it for you. they aren't all willing. please, beware. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Flexibility at it's best!
Don't you ever wish you could pick your own colors in a single kit? You know those kits that are supposed to be everything you need for cheeks and eyes? With this you can! There's a magnetic strip that holds the full-size pans and lets you switch them out whenever you want. the small holes in the back are there when you want to pop out a pan (try a paper clip). It even has a small mirror...and you can see the colors without having to open it (clear cover). The shadows and blush come in a clear plastic reusable cover of sorts...I save them for when I want to switch out something in one of these cases or put it away for awhile. This one is the smallest one but is very pocket friendly...holds two shadows or one blush; perfect for my makeup case. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Why do I have to buy the case if I'm buying the shadow?
I love marks eyeshadows however, I hate that I have to buy the cases for them. It doesn't make sense. If I'm spending the money on the makeup why do I have to buy the case? And the way that the eyeshadows come, you have no choice, they need a case. — 5 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 4 people said helpful
