They don't lie about long lasting!

Really hard to apply, but when you do it.. It's kinda like a tatto in your eyes! The color pops amazingly. — 2 months, 2 weeks ago

    The Best!

OMG this is the best liner I've ever used! I have oily eyelids and this stuff really stays. Its kinda hard to get off because I don't want to 'scrub' my eyemakeup off. I usually have a small bit left on close to my lashes, but its pretty easy to get off in the morning. — 1 year, 3 months ago

    Long lasting but...

This eyeliner is VERY long lasting and waterproof. Since it’s so long lasting, it’s extremely hard to get off. It takes a few wipes in order for me to get it off and it clumps to the roots of my lashes. Also, it dries pretty quickly and the brush is very hard to manage. The brush is pretty prickly, too. — 2 years, 2 months ago

    I swear by this product!

I'm constantly experimenting with different brands for most of my cosmetics, however, when it comes to my eyeliner, I've been using the same type since I was 14--I'm 21 now! MAC liquidlast liner in 'point black' is not only my trademark, but also my one beauty neccessity. It definately lives up to, even exceeds, it's expectations, although it is surprisingly not one of MAC's most popular products. I suppose it is a best-kept beauty secret! It may take some practice to apply if you are used to pencil liners, but with a steady hand and a few applications it can quickly be applied with little effort. You can control how bold of a look you want to create simply by sweeping the brush wider along the lash line. You can also keep it subtle just by running a thin line right along your top lashes, or, just by lining the inside of the lash line. This will make any eye color pop and add a little something to your normal look. If you do try this technique however, or are just a beginner with liquid eyeliner, be cautious because until the liner dries, (only takes a minute or so at most) it is easy for the excess to run into your eye and possibly irritate it. Also, if you are a contact lens wearer (like myself) the excess could get stuck on your lens leaving a noticeable spot. If this happens, simply take the lens out and rub the spot between two fingers. It will gone in no time, despite other claims I have read on here. As I mentioned previously, it is important to let the liner dry, although it requires very little effort. Just be careful not to open your eyes very wide immediately after application on the top lid because it will get on your brow line, and once it is on your skin you MUST use soap or remover to take it off. "Liquidlast" is no joke; it cannot be removed with just water, although if you go swimming with it, it will cause it to begin to fade. What's great is that it does not run down your face like pencil liner would, and once it is dry there is no way of it smudging. You can work out with it on, and it will not run into your eyes no matter how much you sweat, and for less than $20 bucks, (which will last you around 2-3 months, even when worn everyday) it is a bargain! Whether you want to wear it alone and create a cat-eye, put it together with grey eyeshadows for a smokey look, or just work a little into the lash line for a natural, but "little something extra" appeal, this liner is amazing. — 2 years, 7 months ago

the best eyeliner I have ever owned

I get raccoon eyes very easily and I have tried almost every eyeliner product out there. I'm so happy my search ended after discovering this eyeliner. I can exercise, work all day, cry, and not even worry about raccoon eyes on a hot day. Because it stays on so well, it is true when people say it's hard to take off. After struggling with black eyes all the time, that problem is miniscule to me. Just buy MAC's oil-based makeup remover and it comes off just fine. It is, however, a small tube and goes out in 2 months if you use it everyday. $18 a tube is a lot to consider if you have to purchase it that often, but to me, it's well worth the price. — 2 years, 8 months ago

Stays put but can create uneven lines...

So I really DO love this eyeliner as I am a photographer and my eyes are constantly moving around the back of a camera and my make-up always wears off, especially since I sweat a LOT. I love the easy glide that a liquid eyeliner allows BUT, it dries fairly fast, so it can make for a few "oops" before you perfect the application. The brush is thin but too long, so i actually cut mine down to almost half the original size to get more control when applying. The only other complaint I have is that I am 35 and I do have a little aging on my eyelids so this eyeliner can accentuate the fine wrinkles on the lid. If you create a super-fine line, it helps cut down on that. I LOVE the staying power, but I dislike the clumpiness the formula gets after about a month of everyday use. I really wish MAC would change the brush and thin the formula out and it would be perfection! — 3 years, 2 months ago

    Fun Fun Fun

I have four of these in sparkly colours. I love how intense they go on and how fast they dry. It stayed on me all day until I removed it with waterproof eye make up remover. It's a great look if you are looking for a fun flirty look. I rarely wear it to work but I do wear it out to dinner, I get compliments all the time, People want to know how I can get glitter to set so nicely on my eyes. Love it I want the whole range, but I cannot give it a perfect score as I don't like the brush it comes with, it's hard to control and you need to have a steady hand and really , focus otherwise things get messy — 3 years, 6 months ago
