Waterproof for sure

This is a so so mascara in my opinion. Tends to clump and really starts to lose control after the first coat. Doesn't do much in terms of curling, but adds a little bit of volume. It does live up to its 'splashproof' name- it is an absolute nightmare to take off. I've never struggled this hard taking off mascara in my life! Regular eyemakeup remover solution and facial soap still left me with res...read moreidue along the lashline. You'd really have to go at with an oil makeup remover (try Shu Uemura or Decleor)to get it off easily without tearing up your lashes!

DO NOT introduce your lashes to this!

Another bad MAC product I have unfortunately discovered. I don't know what MAC was thinking when the produced this awful mascara, it's so bad. The mascara fails to give length and thickness, you cannot see the impact at all. Another negative thing is it doesn't hold the curls up. I will never ever purchase this again. Waste of money that I thought would be a bargain purchase.

Really waterproof

I found this stuff to be extremely hard to remove, even with eye makeup remover. Serves it's purpose though.

stays put! ********NOT*******

****** UPDATE******** hate it! gee, just wearing it on a regular day gets it all over my eyelids. the search goes on... **************************** i have left the original review below needed a mascara that would not run. my job (paper mill) takes me into very hot humid places and i sweat my buns off at times. i wore this today to work and it is not smeared at all around my eyes! ...read more when i bought it the MA recommended the MAC remover to get it off. i bought it too but haven't tried it on the SplashLash. i did use it last night on my tarte waterproof mascara and it worked great. the mascara itself isn't the biggest lushest of them all, but for one that stays put it is a keeper!

Love it!

I have to wear waterproof mascara, and love the Mac line. After trying many other mascaras, this is the only one that doesn't look lumpy and clumpy. It comes off easy with a good eye make-up remover, and wont pull your eyelashes out.

Excellent Mascara!

For a waterproof, this stuff deilvers! It keeps my lashes soft, yet it wont budge until I take it off. If I had one complaint about it, that would be that it can be difficult to remove. You have to use an oil-based remover to remove it. Other than that, I get rich, full lashes that do not look like I am wearing a waterproof.
