Layerable and Beautiful
These skinfinishes are gorgeous with their multicolored swirls and shimmer strewn throughout. Some are blessed (or cursed) with a chunkier glitter, but the few that I've tried go on smoothly no matter what. I like to layer these with blush & bronzer, or even wear them alone (if the intensity is right for the look I'm wearing). I apply them with a blush brush for highlights or a fluffy powder brush for blending. Love, Love, Love!
Depending on which MSFs you purchase, and how you apply, these reviews can go in all sorts of directions. Yes, some of them can be overly glittery and make you look like a disco ball if you apply all over your face with a large fluffy brush. For me, I tend to use most of them as a highlighter and stick to my cheekbones. It's important that you not apply toward your nose, otherwise the glitter/shimmer will amplify your pores and make them more noticeable. I usually use a MAC 109 or 188 brush to apply and when buff into the skin. Makes pores more visible
I've never been satisfied with this product or any of the MAC Mineralize products with shimmer because of the way that it makes my pores more visible. I will stick to this one very long time :)

If you want a glamourous jlo and beyonce glow!
You need to buy this! I was getting a MAC make over done for my 21st birthday and she put this on me and it made me look so gorgeous! You can add a little bit and build it up more depending on how intense you want it! Its great for parties and clubs. It doesn't break me out. I think its something a celebrity would wear. I have it in Gold deposit. It can highlight your face. It looks really good with cream or liquid foundation it. Its lonh lasting. Put it on your checkbones or all over your face. It looks great with a smokey eye and pale pink lips. I love MSF so much.. I own by candlelight, petticoat and stereo rose. All three so different yet similar results. They add a nice healthy glow I use all three as a highlight over most blush some days I use only these as blush. It photographs really well, although they add shimmer it doesn't look greasy. MUST HAVE, IF YOU CAN PICK THEM MATCHING YOUR SKIN TONE
Some people have a hard time using Mineralize Skinfinishes from Mac, but I love them. The secret is to pick one that matches your skin tone and overall look that you are going for. I personally use the miniralize skinfinishes as highlighers. I have very dark hair, hazel eyes and the fairest skin there is, so my most favorite finishes are: By Candlelight (pinkish gold)and Porcelain pink (self-explanatory). After I am done with my makeup, I will put some mineralize skinfinish on the highest points of my cheeks, collar bone and chin. Looks great, but blend it in with the blush on your cheeks. It gives that beautiful glow that everyone wants.
