Great Highlighter/Blush

I was afraid of this when I saw it at the MAC store, but the clerk insisted I try it on and I was glad I did. It wasn't too shimmery like I thought it was going to be, it actually looked really pretty on. Maybe because I have olive skin, maybe because I have a slight tan...who knows. I really liked it and of course I bought it and use it often. It lasts all day, and gives my skin a healthy and natural glow.

I have this in the shade Lightscapade

I love this product. It is my everyday highlight. You get such a large amount of product for somewhere around $20. I'm not sure of the exact price because I purchased mine off of a blog sale. These are very smooth shimmery powders. They work very nicely as highlighters on the high points of the face to add dimension. It adds a beautiful glow even in photography. The powder feels really soft and finely milled. It doesn't break me out at all. I would not use it all over because it is way too frosty and my skin is combo/oily. Definitely a must have for me especially when I am feeling unwell. It makes me look nice and healthy!

Beautiful Color

Soft and Gentle in the Mineralize Skinfinish range is an absolutely stunning highlighting color for lighter skin tones. It does have sparkles in it, so I do not wear it a lot. It was a gift, so I don't feel like I wasted money on it at least, but I just wish it was smoother and even just shimmery instead of glittery. It looks pretty in pictures and from afar, but up close on the cheeks it's a bit much for day to day.

Love it!!!

I see a lot of people said it has too much sparkle but thats not what I see. I got the gold and use it to highlight my cheek bones and collar bones on top of a bronzer powder. It works beautifully with the bronzer to really give me a pop and glow. My skin radiates in the sun and in normal lighting. The sparkle is not too much so it doesnt look cheap or fake. I love it!!!

A little goes a long way

I've use this for hightlighting above my cheekbone and on top of my cupids bow and not every else on the face. THis is because I find that if you hightlight at the bridge of the nose, it kinda accentuate my pores and looks unnatural due to its shimmery effect. I use my fingers to dap ever so slightly because I feel that using your fingers deposit better and you can apply it on the specific areas. Using a brush is okay if you wanna sheer it out. It is an okay product

Nice

i have a the mac's soft and gentle. its a very nice highlighting for contouring. has a lot of shimmer in it, so if you dont want something thats too strong/shiny then id go with another skinfinish. this is like a pinky golden finish and it looks absolutely beautiful when contouring. it gives such a gorgeous highlight.

Love, Love, Love!

Depending on which MSFs you purchase, and how you apply, these reviews can go in all sorts of directions. Yes, some of them can be overly glittery and make you look like a disco ball if you apply all over your face with a large fluffy brush. For me, I tend to use most of them as a highlighter and stick to my cheekbones. It's important that you not apply toward your nose, otherwise the glitter/shim...read moremer will amplify your pores and make them more noticeable. I usually use a MAC 109 or 188 brush to apply and when buff into the skin. For me, they give that extra "something" that really polishes off your makeup look.

Makes pores more visible

I've never been satisfied with this product or any of the MAC Mineralize products with shimmer because of the way that it makes my pores more visible. Many other MAC products are great but this isn't one I prefer.

I will stick to this one very long time :)

at store, among skinfinish mineralize product, i tried almost every color to find perfect color match for my face. and it was sunny by nature. :) i really like this one, i use this for contouring my face. be careful , you only need very small amount to give enough effect. if you apply little much, then it can make your face very dark.
