AWESOME

Look no further, this is the best shadow brush money can buy. If you only have enough money to get one MAC brush, I *HIGHLY* recommend this be the one. I drove 2 hours to my local MAC store, simply because I have been spending a LOT of money online and getting the wrong shades. Now I will st...read moreart by saying I have been looking at brushes, and by no means was this one at the top of my to-buy list. When the artist got to my eyes she pulled out the 239 shader brush. First, she packed the base color all over my lid, and this brush did so better than any brush I've used previously. Next, she applied the following colour in my crease, and blended. This brush did a better blending job than any blending brush could do. She then, still using this brush, applied a deep purple in my outer V, blending that FLAWLESSLY as well. Still using, yep you guessed it, this SAME BRUSH, she applied the highlight on my brow bone and the shadow on my lower lash line. The end result was amazing. The best eye look I've ever seen. All done with the one and only, 239 brush. This brush is so nice and soft, yet still picks up a ridiculous amount of product that all goes onto the lid, none sticking to the brush. One would think because of that there would be a lot of fall out, but not one drop fell onto my face. This brush is the ultimate multitasker; it can pack, blend, smudge, highlight, and apply to the lower lash line.. just to name a few. All for under $30!! Great brush, MAC!

LOVE IT !!!!!

I can't say how much I love this brush... Not only does the bristles dense but this size and shape of the brush allows you to line your lower lid perfectly ......

good but...

this brush is really good but i feel i can get the same look with a much cheaper brush like one from elf... hmmm undecided whether i should buy more mac brushes..

Good

The 239 is a great blush. I use it to apply eyeshadow to the lid like most people. MAC brushes are my favorite because they fit the proportion of my face pretty well. This brush is good for both loose and press eyeshadows. The down side is that white bristles tend to stain. The MAC brush cleanser is pretty good at getting most colors out of the brush.

Favorite Shadow Brush

I love, love, love this brush. The bristles are so dense that it really packs eye shadow on the lid. It also picks up product so well that there is less waste. If you're going to buy one eye shadow brush from MAC, get this one. The #217 Blending Brush is great too. If you are trying to save a little money though, the Sigma E55 Eye Shading Brush is so similar to the #239. Grab that one instead.

so worth the money

This brush may not seem like a big deal but I love it! it's soft and compact. You use less product with this brush and when you do apply the product on your lid it goes eactly where you want it to go not all over the place.

Perfect

This is the perfect brush to apply color with. It is the perfect density and packs on the color. The hairs are white! which is so ideal, so you know what color is on the brush and know if its been used and dirty.
