This is not like any lipstick out there. It's really smooth and not at all like the other lipsticks that I have tried. I do not normally like lipstick because of the way it feels on my lips but this is creamy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bare! It's like a nude color without completely washing out your face. Give a nice pretty shine on the lips. These are similar to the consistency of Mac’s Lustre formula but these are a bit more opaque. They don’t last very long on the lips, 1-2 hours max. They are somewhat moisturizing but I still need to put on a lip moisturizer on first. They feel very slick and buttery, not sticky at all. I love the packaging, very sleek and compact. I have this in Think Tan. I love MAC because if you recycle the containers of 5 or 6 MAC items, you can trade them in for a free lipstick, and this is how I got this one. I love the color, it shows up really well on my lips and goes nicely with my skin tone. I like this better than regular lipstick because it goes on easily and is a bit more creamy. Like all Mac products these lipsticks are true to color. Love the feel of the application when it goes on. Almost feels like an emoliant or gloss (without the grease). Adds a little shine to the lipstick so is not completely matte. The slim package is also super sexy and sophisticated looking. I think I still prefer their original lipstick though.
