I hate wearing lipstick, but I adore MAC Slimshine! They hardly feel like lipstick at all, but give the same beautiful finish that is shiny and lustrous. It feels slick and light on the lips, very creamy, but stays on for a long time! I even had quite a bit left after eating and drinking. The colors are wonderful and beautiful, and my only complaint is that I found them just a little drying after wearing all day - try a balm underneath, though, and I'm sure it will help. i loved the Ardor slimshine so much that i went back to buy another one, and got an Ardor (bright peach) and an Ultra-Elegant (taupey-mauve). they have a lot of color in them, and they go on really smooth like the lip conditioner. they also stay on for a pretty long time and don't smudge or feather. oh, and they look great without lipliner! If a tube of lipstick and a tube of lipgloss had a love child.. slimshine is it.
It has the color of a lipstick and the shine of the lipgloss.
Easy to apply and looks darn good!
HOWEVER... Staying power isn't so good.
I do have to reapply it several times throughout the day.. which means the sooner I have to replace it :(

I love the MAC slimshine lipsticks. I feel it's a new and fresh take on lipstick for the new generation of make-up heads. The package is the sleekest and cutest addition to your make-up kit and a true please to travel with. The formula is not sticky but has a texure that's like a mixure between lipstick and gloss. The application for this product is like putting pure satin-silk on you lips. And ladies and it kinda long lasting... To say the least it's a must have! October 24, 2008, 7:52 am
