MAC Slimshine Lipstick has a creamy formula that gives lips a healthy dose of moisture. The slim, sleek, compact tube is not only chic but also makes it easier to apply color neatly without a mirror. Expect color to come out sheer but to closely resemble what it looks like in the tube. As for shine, there is some, but it's not on par with traditional lip glosses. One complaint: The medicinal taste can be a little off-putting.

    I love this stuff!!! The color I have is "pleasing". What I like about the MAC slimshine is that it's like having a lipstick and gloss in one product. It does not dry my lips out like lipstick, and it's not sticky like gloss. It's the best! May 29, 2008, 10:01 am

    i love that this lipstick is non drying and super creamy. the color that i have is bare and it seriously gives my lips just a hint of color that is very natural and can be paired up with dramatic eyes or just a natural look! just went through my first tube! August 1, 2008, 1:58 am

    I hate wearing lipstick, but I adore MAC Slimshine! They hardly feel like lipstick at all, but give the same beautiful finish that is shiny and lustrous. It feels slick and light on the lips, very creamy, but stays on for a long time! I even had quite a bit left after eating and drinking. The colors are wonderful and beauti...ful, and my only complaint is that I found them just a little drying after wearing all day - try a balm underneath, though, and I'm sure it will help. A fantastic MAC lip product! June 16, 2008, 8:23 pm

    These are fantastic! They give you the look of a lipstick without the funky feel of lipstick. It is creamy and has a bit of shine. Not as much as a gloss does. Last a long time May 13, 2008, 6:02 pm

    You get the rich color of a lipstick with intense shine built-in. The only negative is that it does require re-application during the day..it is not long-wearing. March 1, 2008, 4:04 am

    i loved the Ardor slimshine so much that i went back to buy another one, and got an Ardor (bright peach) and an Ultra-Elegant (taupey-mauve). they have a lot of color in them, and they go on really smooth like the lip conditioner. they also stay on for a pretty long time and don't smudge or feather. oh, and they look great ...without lipliner!     This is not like any lipstick out there. It's really smooth and not at all like the other lipsticks that I have tried. I do not normally like lipstick because of the way it feels on my lips but this is creamy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bare! It's like a nude color without completely washing out your face.
