Great All Around Eye Brush
This is definitely one of my most used eyeshadow brushes. I had the 224 from MAC before this and now I can't believe I ever made it without the 217. If you are trying to decide between the 224 and the 217 for eye shadow and blending, I would definitely go with the 217. It is much more versatile and easy to work with. This is great for applying shadow all over the lid or for application just to the crease or the outer corners of the eyes. I mostly use this with powder products but it also works nicely at blending cream shadows. You can lay this brush flat and cover a large area, but on its side, it is quite narrow so it is good for precision that way. I just love the versatility of this brush so much. I have had mine for at least three years now and it is just as good as when I bought it. No shedding or splaying at all. This is also really easy to clean. Good but...
I really like this brush, but I hate that the bristles are white. I really get irritated with this brush because when blending lighter colors after having blended darker colors, the pigments are released onto the lighter eyeshadow. I hate having to wash this brush constantly because of the loose pigments that might be delivered to my next eyeshadow look. Love
This brush is another one of my essentials because it blends so well. I can make the V-point, do a well-blended smoky eye, or just blend several colors all over. So soft and comfy to use
A wonderful eye makeup brush like this makes the morning routine so much more fun. This is guaranteed the BEST eye brush you will ever find. It applies the perfect amount and even though it is super soft, you can still control exactly where the color goes. Amazing for applying color to the crease
I didn't know how much I didn't like my old crease brush until I bought this one. It applies crease colors beautifully, and subtly blends them out, so I don't have to spend a lot of extra time blending with my 224 brush. love this brush
This brush is amazing! Its soft and blends the colors really nice. Its perfect for your crease, if you dont have big lids. It does not shed, and is very strudy. If you wash and take care of it properly these will last you forever! This brush is recommended by almost every makeup artist! It does what it says it will do! My Go To Brush!
This brush is probably my first ever MAC brush that I have purchased and I haven't regretted buying it since. The brush is a tad bit pricey and retails for $27.50 CAD but this brush honestly does the job. I've had it for about 5-6 years now and it's still in great condition. Every time I apply my eye make up, I always reach for this brush and it blends my crease shadow effortlessly, I can't see myself without this brush when I do my make up.
