Wet, mirrored shine is the trademark of this colorless high gloss, with a long wear similar to Lancome Juicy Tubes (only this one's flavorless). Long hair will stick like flypaper on a windy day, but our lips stayed soft and shiny for hours. Also wears well over lip liner or color, but use a brush or risk funking up the round-tipped squeeze tube. A downside: A messy lid, which would produce fruitful forensics evidence of anything that's been in my purse, ever.

    Obviously glosses are going to be somewhat sticky, but this takes the cake. Even when I take the cap off, I swear tiny particles magnetize to the opening because when I put it on, I feel random textures other than lip gloss! It also frustrates me on a windy day and pieces of my hair stick together like glue if they even so ...much as sweep past the gloss. June 6, 2008, 7:06 am

    Yea I have to say this gloss is pure stickyness...it's like putting on a clear glue and it gets so annoying when you have to constantly pull your hair away from your mouth and it drags across your cheeks leaving this sticky/gross feeling on your face...what a mess I love MAC but sorry this lip gloss just doesn't cut it.     I hate to give MAC a bad rating, because there are so many other products of their that I adore. I just can't stand the way my hair or any other lint that happens to be floating aroudn sticks to it and makes it impossible to wear it on a windy day. Lip gloss should not be like glue to everything it touches. I have bought ...it at two different times always hoping it would be better, but it still is just too gooey. February 10, 2008, 6:47 am

    MAC's clear lipglass is a staple at for many women, but I find it overhyped and overglossed. It's extremely glossy and leaves your lips sticky and shiny instead of soft and supple. Furthermore, I don't really feel like this product moisturizes my lips. I don't recommend it to anyone over 18. February 16, 2008, 12:08 pm

    Sticky lip

    I really like the effect that the lip glass gives you, but I feel like my lips are being held together with super glue every time I press them together. Forget about trying to blot on a tissue! October 10, 2007, 6:56 pm

    I really don't get the appeal of this gloss, its sticky and frankly thats not something I want in a gloss. While it does leave a nice shine on the lips, I'd rather not deal with texture of this product April 24, 2008, 2:55 pm

    TOO Sticky

    This product is OK, but it is way too sticky and messy. If you plan to go out and not touch anything with your lips it is great, but otherwise try something else. June 9, 2008, 12:14 pm
