MAC Lustreglass Reviews

MAC LUSTREGLASS
TWMichello (160 reviews)Love Nectar is quite wearable to any occasion, and I agree it's versatile. I find it pretty on it's own or over lipsticks that need some extra shine! This was actually my first or second MAC lipgloss. I admire the brush tips on Lustreglasses and prefer them over the regular Lipglass doe foot applicators. Consistent with the majority of MAC glosses: this has a subtle vanilla scent, is just slightly sticky, and therefore long lasting. As a dusty soft rose color, with a hint of golden shimmers it isn't too in your face and perfectly acceptable for school, church etc.. I would repurchase! I'm not sure why I didn't buy this lip glass much sooner as I always loved the shade and the name but always passed it up at the MAC store. I finally bought this and I'm so glad I did. It's a gorgeous golden apricot color that looks great with my light olive skin. I like to wear it over Shy Girl (also MAC) lipstick to make the peach show even more. Nymphette is still my #1 favorite. This is a great lip gloss. It has just the right amount of shine, shimmer and color for perfect, naturally pretty lips. It is very versatile, it would go great on top of lipstick, and it's nice on it's own. It's very build-able and I like that a lot. You can use one coat for a natural, glossy look, or use two or three coats to get a nice, shiny color. I know most people don't like the vanilla smell, but I like it a lot. It's subtle, and makes me feel fresh. Overall, a great find. Fabulous color, a pinkish/peachish color flecked with gold but not in-your-face "disco" gold glitter. It looks as good indoors as it does outdoors and has that wonderful MAC subtle vanilla smell. As a plus, it has a brush applicator as opposed to the doe-foot or sponge applicator, too. The texture is nice. You can feel it sticking to your lips yet the gloss itself isn't too sticky at all. MAC, you knocked it out of the park on this one...My next step is to try it with the Stripdown (is that the right name?) lipliner from MAC to see if it looks as great as it does with the Chanel nude lipliner. I'd recommend this to all skin tones...I'm fair and if it looks this good on my porcelain skin, I'll bet it totally rocks on someone with tanned or olive skin! — 1 month, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I Just Can't Get Right
leo1999 (560 reviews)This gloss would be fine if I could handle the brush applicator, I suppose. I looked like a sloppy mess after using it. I prefer sponge application's control. I'm not too terribly fond of the smell of MAC lip products either but I shouldn't complain as it was a gift. I like Estee Lauder. But if you are a make up artist, you may find success with this product. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Beautiful!
thedragonslady (472 reviews)I pair them with a mac lipstick. I like the brush applicator, not sticky and great color. Wear alone or with a lipstick. I would buy again, but I'll check discount sites first. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

My favorite MAC lip gloss
teshie (396 reviews)Lustreglass is my favorite of MAC's lip glosses. The colors are sheer without being poorly pigmented, so they look great on their own or can really transform the look of a lipstick you're getting bored with. The formula is super duper shiny and so thick it survived a shower. I wish MAC would come out with a broader color selection and include more Lustreglasses in its LE collections. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Love!!
j_orestano (221 reviews)First of all, the shade selection in this line is amazing! Everyone will be able to find a color they like. Love Nectar is a gorgeous pinky-peach color that's great for summer. The wear isn't bad; very typical for a lip gloss. It will stay on only for an hour or 2 before I need to reapply, but that's to be expected. The texture is nice, not overly sticky or syrupy, and it lightly moisturizes which is a plus. I will definitely be buying new colors in the future! — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Very Nice
sami_jo (13 reviews)I really like Mac lustreglass! Mac's lustreglass in Wonderstruck is my first Mac product, and I'M IN LOVE. I will surely be buying from them again ASAP! Wonderstruck is a very iridescent baby pink color that looks lovely with ELF's essential lipstick in Classy or Mac's Angel. It goes very well with olive skin tones. Anyway, I got mine in the mail on November 29th, and I LOVE IT! I'm alright with sponge applicators, they're fine, but brush applicators are amazing! I will definitely be going back for more! The $14.50 is worth it, however I bet you could find a cheaper dupe. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Springbean Lustreglass
ericaurr (6 reviews)The only shade I have this in is Springbean. Yes, that shiny green one many people are afraid of using. For $14.50 I was a little skeptical to buy a small gloss when I could easily buy 4 or 5 glosses elsewhere, but I wanted to try this color out. I like that the applicator is in a brush style and not the usual doe-foot. I feel it really gives my lips that glassy shine look. When I went to buy this, the girl told me to pair this particular color with any bright colored lipstick, like a bright red, magenta, or even plum. After trying it out, I realized how much it makes my lips pop. I wouldn't buy this again though because the price seems a little steep for the amount of product you get. I just wish women weren't so afraid to use it! Just try it :). — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
