Pearl = great cream highlighter
I purchased the Cream Colour Base in "Pearl" to use as a highlighter on my cheeks and cupid's bow. This is perfectly shimmery without being glittery at all. It just catches the light and makes you look glowing, but still natural. This can be applied easily with your fingers or if you are like me and prefer using makeup brushes, a flat foundation brush works wonderfully. This lasts quite a long time because a little bit of product goes a long way. I have pale skin and this looks really nice on me. My friend is Filipino with much darker skin than me and she uses this same color as a highlight and she loves it too. Color 'Shell'
Shell is a "soft-pink beige with shimmer". I have tried this as a shadow base. No good. Creasy and greasy. I have tried this as a cheek/facial highlighter. No good. Sticky and too shiny. I have tried this as a base to lip gloss/stick/pencil. No good. Too pale and washed out. I then tried this as a brow bone highlighter. SHABAM! There it is. Perfect. Amazing. It is impossible for a cream to crease where there are no creases, and the brow bone is the perfect place to apply this. I apply with my ring finger and pat it all over the brow bone, from inside to outside. It looks so pretty with my blue eyes. I find that the lasting power is pretty good throughout a full day with no touch-ups. The one and only downside with using this in the way that I do is that in pictures it looks a tad greasy. PLEASE SEE: and Yet with my dry skin I would rather have that than looking bone dry and scary in pics. Will buy again.
