When put on my face prior to foundation or when mixed with foundation, the effect was dewy, young skin. - a glow. I don't look oily, just not matte. It's an extra step so if you're pressed for time, you may decline. Also, it's an extra thirty bucks. Nothing special

I use this product as an all-over moisturizer, rather than a highlight. To me, it doesn't have enough shimmer or sheen to be used as a highlighter. Regardless, that's why I like it for a moisturizer during the day. It's rich, moisturizing, smells amazing, and has caffeine in it to wake your skin up. It's a bit pricey, but I don't use this everyday, just on days when I need that something "extra". I was a bit skeptical that this would break me out, but so far so good! — 4 months, 3 weeks ago

Healthy Glow

Love the glow this leaves. It isn't oily and I love that it's white. I've used highlighting creams that are kind of pink and live more of a iridescent look and it's looks cakey and unnatural. That is not the case with this, I'm due for my second bottle. — 8 months, 1 week ago

Great product, BUT...

I used to mix 2 little drops with liquid foundation - which would result in a top-model finish skin, healthy look. The "but" is the unexpected side effect it produced. MAC Strobe Cream gave me skin rash on my face- mostly on the eyelids. I had to treat the allergy for 3 days with topic medication and take care not to get exposed to sunlight. If it wasn't for that, I'd rate it 10. if you are allergy-prone, consider trying it before buying it. (As for me, I'd never imagine a MAC product could give me allergy. Lesson learned) — 11 months ago

Great product for a little special look

I love this product. Other reviews I read stated how it left skin looking oily. I have really dry skin and did not have this problem at all even using it over another moisturizer. I love using it under my foundation, of which I use a sheer one, and/or over my foundation on highlight areas such as browbones, cheekbones, and the insides of my eyes for nights out. I use it just under my foundation if I need a little pick me up from being up too late the night before or something. I also love using it on my chest and shoulders when I'm wearing shirts that show off these areas for a night out. Great fun product! — 3 years ago

I love Strobe Cream

It's in creamy-like form and it is actually a moisturizer. I only use a little bit of it, it will last me a long time. In fact, you don't have to use a moisturizer but to apply it under your foundation. I use it onto my cheekbones, under my eye, forehead and nose. I don't apply the whole face because it's kind of like making the light hit where you want it to. Normally, I would apply my foundation first before the Strobe Cream. In fact, you can put on with the mixture of your Strobe Cream and a liquid foundation or you can wear under a foundation. It's up to you how you want it to be, really... Overall, I love this product as it gives a nice subtle glow on days when your skin looks a bit dull which mine often does. — 3 years, 1 month ago
