Smooth liperator
I like using MAC Prep+Prime Lip right before I put on lipstick. It makes the application feel and look smoother. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Really good
this works pretty good, i had always wanted my lips to look plain just like they do in the pictures of models...and now i got it...this works even better if you put the lip conditioner first and then the primer let it dry and put you lipstick or gloss on.. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Smooth Lips
I loved this product. It really does smooth out your lips and allows your lipstick to go on even and smooth. Lips feel soft and light. I did not see a change in color or how long my lipstick color last. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

MAC Prep + Prime Lip - So & So.
The Prep + Prime is used to smooth, refine and enhance your lipstick. It is used as a base under lipstick. Pro's: It made my lips smooth and it felt super light (compared to chapstick). If you want, you can use this as a base, then use a lip liner and color your lips in.. if you want that matte lipstick look. I usually add a slab of clear gloss right after. Con's: It really didn't enhance my lipstick. My lipstick started to fade in less than an hour. The color quality was the same even if I didn't use the Prep + Prime. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

M.A.C. Prep+Prime Lip - just ok
First let me say that I LOVE M.A.C. products, so I never hesitate to take the advice of their reps at the counter, but this one disappointed me. I was thinking about purchasing a lipstick that didn't have much staying power, so the M.A.C. rep suggested that Prep+Prime would make the lipstick stay on longer. I did not find that the be the case. In fact I think it diluted the color of the lipstick. It does make my lips feel nice and soft, but it did not make the lipstick stay on longer. — 5 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful
