Lush Buttercreams Reviews

Ring of Roses
antipopprincess (13 reviews)This is a real treat for my eczema prone skin. It gets your skin clean without overdrying. Great for shaving too! Bye bye bland, boring unscented products! Thanks Lush for realizing those of us with sensitive skin like to smell pretty too! — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Rose Buttercream
Kirstie (95 reviews)This product smells great and does make my skin soft... but not soft enough to skip lotion on those cold dry days. I also find it hard to use in the bath or shower as it likes to slip away. I think that there are better LUSH products out there. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Skin So Soft
ferncool (29 reviews)I've tries 3 of LUSH's buttercreams, and I've found them all to be excellent, non-drying alternatives to regular soap. Heavenly Bodies is a rich chocolate orange fragrance; Skinny Dip is a bright, energizing lemon; and Ring of Roses is a citrusy rose fragrance. The buttercreams may take a little getting used to, as they don't lather as well as regular soap, but they'll leave your skin feeling soft and clean, not tight. They're also amazing for a super close shave! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Rose Buttercream ROCKS!!
jackieznyc (61 reviews)So while I agree that buttercreams are a fantastic alternative to soap or shower gel; I have to say my favorite is the Ring of Roses one. It has the most amazing smell-not that old lady musty rose you usually get...just like smelling a fresh rose at the flower shop. I also love how soft the buttercreams feel on skin. They can be a bit slippery to hold so careful not to drop them if you're showering as they can also make the tub floor a bit slick. A good Lush paring with this is the Charity Pot hand/body lotion which also has a subtle rose scent...lovely! — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

wanted to love this
elysef (113 reviews)Maybe next time I'll try another scent because the fakey chocolate truffle scent was just not working for me. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Heavenly experience for your skin!
Inny (32 reviews)Lush Buttercreams are THE BEST of THE BEST products ever invented to moisturize your skin in the bath, while at the same time all of them smell wonderful and are gorgeously creamy, not oily as you'd think from the word "BUTTERcream". My personal favorite is Emperor of Ice Cream - it smells like chocolate sundae and it moisturizes so perfectly! Try one (or more) of Lush Buttercreams and your skin will thank you!!! The soul will thank you also for the extraordinary scent experience, often filling the whole place with the gorgeous scents of Lush products - whether you just used Lush Bath Bomb, or Buttercream, or Bubble Bar - it's a DREAMY experience!!! — 4 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Smells edible
cocopa (3 reviews)I love anything lemony, and the lemslip smells like actual lemons instead of the weird chemical "lemon scent" I run into most often. It's less sudsy than soap, but it cleans just as well. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Skinny Dip
ingridbergman (8 reviews)Has a heavenly scent of cloves and violets- I keep it in the bathroom to addd a nice scent. Really great for winter- just a little mositurizes skin as it cleans- good for my "mature" dry skin. Warning- make sure you keep the bar dry between baths- it will dissove easily- it's costly but well worth the price- keeping it dry means no waste. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
