A Mighty Misunderstood Powerhouse!

After reading some of the negative reviews of Ole Henriksen's "Invigorating Night Gel,™" I feel that this powerhouse of a product is sadly misunderstood by some people. Read the label carefully: This is probably one of the most POTENT, concentrated products available to stimulate cell turnover and expose a younger and firmer-looking complexion. A multi-ingredient AHA complex (including Glycol...read moreic, Lactic, Sugar Cane, Sugar Maple, Orange, Lemon, and Licorice Extracts!) go to work to diminish lines and wrinkles, shrink pores, perfect skin's texture, and even inhibit the advent of blemishes. Other ingredients bind moisture to the skin while nourishing it. It is a non-oily gel to be spread evenly over your face, preferably after using Henriksen's superb "Truth Serum™ Collagen Builder" and before the wonderful, comforting soufflé-like "Sheer Transformation™ Moisturizing Crème." You may experience a slight tingling sensation which disappears quickly. After only a week I noticed a far more refined, clarified look to my complexion. This will not be nearly as effective when used alone. It is made to be part of a natural skin care regimen which brightens, tightens, firms, evens skin's tone, and leaves you looking much younger and radiant. I actually scoffed when I purchased several products from Ole Henriksen, but my skin hasn't looked this good since I was in my early twenties! At night my husband asks for these products--in particular the "Invigorating Night Gel™" and "Sheer Transformation,™" because he, too, has experienced a complete turnaround in the look of and feel of his face.

Ole Night Cream

My night-time ritual includes cleansing my face and using Olay Regenerist night cream. I have added to that ritual lately becauseI got a small trio of Ole products as a reward from Sephora. It'll probably last a month though, because I use such a little amount. I remove the lid of this greenish gel (that looks like aloe vera gel) and dip the tip of my finger into it, smoothing that teeny amount ...read moreover my whole face. It is light, essentially fragrance-free, and leaves my skin looking smoother and younger but I probably won't buy it because it costs a pretty penny and can't be found at the drug store. But does it work? Oh yeah.

did not like

I didn't care for the night gel at all. I thought it left my skin feeling sticky. I didn't notice any difference in my skin and wouldn't buy again.

Not To Be Underestimated

I love love love love love this product. I have pretty nice skin, but this takes it to the next level. I received a sample of this item in a sephora giveaway bag and decided to use it one night after a facial...all I can say is wow. After one week of use, my skin was brighter, clearer, vibrant...one word: very young! It goes on really light and you think it won't do anything. It also burns on newl...read morey waxed or threaded skin which can be a little bit scary, but after using it for weeks after the initial scare I have found it to be amazing. I've never seen a product that works this quickly. I'm not a huge fan of using full skin care lines, but this was so amazing that I had to buy the 3 little wonders set...yes, the sheer transformation cream and the vitamin c collagen booster are also just as amazing. And yes, it got even better by using the whole line. Highly recommended!! I couldn't resist buying the full size bottles even though my mini samples aren't done...I guess those will be used for travel since I'm not parting from this line for a long time!

What was this supposed to do again?

Week 1, no results. Week 2, still nothing. Week 3. I saw something and it's a frown on my face from seeing that this was't a very effective product. I don't know how anyone feels about slathering strawberry glaze across their face feels but it sure matches up to it. There are no effects and it doesn't absorb and has a bit of a greasy feel. Then when it finally dried, you'll find that you stick toilet paper to your face in different regions... not that I've tried.

OH invigorating night gel gave my skin a radiant lit from within glow!! *** I used sparingly and applied moisturizer over top. A must-have treatment for those with dark spots on their skin.

Best invigorating night treatment.

This is amazing. I have sensitive/acne-prone/dry skin, and after only 3 uses of this invigorating night serum I noticed a huge difference in my skin. Already my existing blemishes were reduced, acne scars were already lightened, and my skin felt smooth and soft all over! I love this product and will definitely be buying again.

Miracle Night Gel

This gel is one of the best things that have happened to my skin. I used to get cystic acne on my chin until I started using this gel. I had tried so many products looking for relief from this ugly, painful affliction. I also had a small sebaceous cyst on my forehead which had been there 15 years. It is now gone and the acne no longer makes an appearance. I think the people who complain about the...read more product being drying or sticky are not using it correctly. I apply this gel after my night serum but before my moisturizer. If I do this, there is no tight feeling and no stickiness. This product works and I highly recommend it.

Made my skin break out

I love love ole products specially the truth serum and wanted to love this. Its a huge bottle reasonably priced and had many great reviews. But it made my skin break out even though I tried to give my skin time to get used to it. I do no have sensitive skin. Very few products have ever had that effect on me this being one of them. I had no tingling or anything and could not use it enough to see any effect. In fact 3 weeks later my skin is still healing.

Great night exfoliant

This is one of the best night exfoliants that I have come across. It is drying and potentially irritating on its own, but when used in conjunction with a serum or night creme, it does wonders on clearing up breakouts, fading acne spots, and improving texture. It works wonders as an exfoliant.
