works, but smell sucks

this conditioner is awesome! when i got out of the shower, my hair was SO soft! my naturally curly hair is dry and its sometimes hard to keep my curls defined. but after using the frederic fekkai shampoo and conditioner with shea butter, my hair was softer and my curls were more defined! i loved my hair. i would say the ONE MAJOR downside is the scent. I really hate it! it's kind of hard to describe, but it smells like medicated shea butter. — 1 year ago

I have a tendency to think that price is indicative of product quality… and this just isn’t it. My hair is not very thick; it’s long, and slightly wavy. I have used this conditioner for about three weeks now and I see no improvement in my hair. It doesn’t look or feel soft, silky, and luxurious. I live in the West where the climate is dry year-round and I need a conditioner that can moisturize. However, I don’t use this conditioner in conjunction with any other Fekkai products but I feel like if it works- it works. It can only work better if used with its own kind. I feel like Aussie products can fulfill my wants how I like and for a fraction of the price. — 3 months, 3 weeks ago

Coated my hair

I found this conditioner to be less moisturizing and more coating. I used just a small amount and it felt like I was trying to rinse pure butter out of my hair. After a week, my hair needed a clarifier and a real moisturizing conditioner. I am giving it three stars only because my ends of my hair was the only thing that benefited. For the price, I will not buy this conditioner again. Yuck. — 6 months, 1 week ago

Worth the $$$

I bought a sample of this years ago, and I love it sooo much. I have lots of long, straight hair that tangles easily, and this makes it so smooth and glossy it won't even hold a ponytail for a couple of days because the band or clip keeps slipping out. My hair is also very oily but this leaves it feeling very light and bouncy. It's pretty expensive stuff, but with my type of hair one bottle lasts forever. I have color treated relaxed hair,and this conditioner is amazing for it. All you need is a small amount. The consistancy of it is just right. Not too watery and not too thick. I also love the smell. The only thing that works!

I have veru coarse thick wavy hair that is virtually impossible to keep from looking like a bush. This conditioner along with the Shea Butter Shampoo works miracles with my hair. It's actually soft and I can use a flat iron with great results. I tried using so many styling products from de-frizzers to products that claim to make you hair striaght.
