DR. HAUSCHKA LIP CARE STICK
Amazing product once you get used to it. The very first time I used this lip care stick, my lips started peeling and it felt horrible. I thought I'd wasted a bunch of money on something that I was never go to use again. However. I took it up again a couple days later only to discover that once my lips had gotten rid of the current dead skin, this little stick is great at keeping my lips moist and happy. Now I use it everyday! I also found it lasted a long time on my lips and I love how it makes my lips a bit glossy. Has a great smell and my lips never get dry anymore. Presently, it is definetely challenging my favourite, the Weleda Everon lip balm for the first place. This is one of the best, moisturising lip balms in a stick I have ever tried. What I really love about this is that it leaves your lips shiny, almost like a clear gloss, but without the sticky feeling. I have been using the Weleda Everon lip balm for years, and I like its waxy texture. This one is just as moisturising and nourishing, but has a less waxy and more oily texture. I am all about natural products, so the smell is not bothering me, even though I admit it is definately herb-ish. But it has no taste, so you dont have to worry about that. If you live in warmer areas, you might want to know that this lip balm melts easier than the Weleda, due to its different texture. I live in the north, so nothing ever melts here, but I suppose it could be an issue for some. I prefer sticks over pots for hygenic, practical and economic reasons, so to get a super-nourishing lip balm in a stick that is natural AND leaves lips glossy is GREAT! Would definately repurchase! This is simply the best lip softener/protecting agent I have found. And believe me, the winters are super dry and cold here. I use either alone at anytime (but especially bedtime) for a very sheer, satiny, but not glossy cover or over my long-wearing (not very natural) Revlon Colorstay Sheer lipcolor or Besame...or anything, really. Either way, my lips stay soft and smooth--way better than Chapstick or regular glosses. Considering how much lip color I ingest, this product makes me feel a bit better in terms of being organic/natural. Here is to soft, unchapped, lips! HG for lips! I have dry, cracking lips in the winter thanks to a lot of indoor time and taking Accutane earlier in life. This lip balm does more than moisturize and soothe; it also repairs lips. It is amazing what a difference it makes compared to other balms. It is expensive but worth the price if you have a severe dry lip situation like I do. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Nice Lip Balm
Packaging states it gives lips a silky shine. It's shiny but feels a little thick. And it's not supposed to cause depency. As with any lip balm, I have to use it daily or my very dry lips will get extremely dry. I only use this at night & wake up with hydrated lips. Very little is needed so one tube has lasted me 2 years! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My favorite
This is my favorite day to day lip treatment. It goes on sleek with nice lip feel. It keeps your lips soft, supple and in condition. Also, I have very sensitive skin ...... with my previous lip care stick I had irritation around my lips. No irritation at all with this product. Just healthy, pretty lips. It doesn't need to be reapplied too often. A very good buy for the price. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great lip balm!
Got this as a GWP and what a great gift it was! Sinks in quickly and moisturizes well! Doesn't make my lips feel greasy and the herbal scent is not really noticeable and fades quickly. The stick option is great so I don't have to dip my fingers in an unsanitary pot. Only drawback is the price. I can get a better deal using Sundog lip balm for around $3 and it's all natural also. Still if you've got cash to burn then this is a great item and much better IMO than the famous Kiehl's or Rosebud Salve lip balm. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Best lip balm!
I really love this lip balm; it moisturizes without being gloppy, and it stays on all night. I use it right before bed, as an overnight moisturizer. And it works like a dream, because my lips are never dry and flaky when I'm using it. It doesn't have sunscreen, that's the only down-side. But if you're looking for a lip balm to condition your lips? You can't do any better, and believe me I've tried just about everything, in every price range.... — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Smells and feels so good!
This balm has a lovely rose scent and a luxurious, non-waxy feel. I have no idea if it really helps my lips or not (I'm beginning to suspect that all lip balms simply incur dependence on lip balms)but I love using it, especially before bed at night. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
