Frownies for the Forehead and Between the Eyebrows Reviews

Okay for 1/2 hour
I bought these to help decrease the number eleven between my eyes caused by frowning. I wet the back of a thick piece of paper, stretched the frown to spread it out, and applied it between my eyes at night. In the morning, when I took it off, the frown was gone! However, even concentrating on not frowning, the 2 lines reappeared in all of their glory in about 1/2 hour! I did this for a month, and the same thing happened. The repair is simply not there. Don't waste your money. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

try these before botox!
This is my first review, but I really wanted to weigh in on what I think is a brilliant product. I'm in my late 30s and am starting to develop slight "11s" between my eyebrows. The 11s are the most pronounced when I wake up because apparently I frown deeply in my sleep. I first bought the frownies a couple of years ago but I used to use them really inconsistently. I would notice improvement the morning after wearing them, but then I wouldn't wear them the next night. I started using the frownies between my brows consistently (every night) a few weeks ago and my results have been so good that I think I can put off botox for a few more years, or maybe even forever. The frownies work kind of like botox... they "freeze" your expression so you can't really frown while wearing them. If you take advantage of that down time when you're not frowning and use a good wrinkle cream, your skin can, in theory, rebuild its collagen and start to repair itself to prevent more damage. I only wear them at night (of course!) but I think that's when I frown the most. I make a concerted effort NOT to frown during the day. Wearing the frownies a lot does help to train you not to do it. My 11s are fading and they are non-existent when I wake up in the morning. I am hopeful that this process will at least prevent new, deeper lines, and buy me more time before botox or other measures like that. A few tips: if you use moisturizer or wrinkle cream (I am using the PTR unwrinkle line), put it on well before the frownies so it can absorb into your skin first. Make sure to wet the shiny side of the frownies really well, and then hold it in place until it adheres. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. I douse the frownie in water in the morning to remove it. I hope this helps someone! — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Cheesy but functional
I've been using these for about a week and have noticed some improvement in the deep "thinking groove' between my eyebrows. It seems to be making a difference. The product claims say it takes 30 days to see any real improvement for first time users. I'm going to stick it out and see what the results will be. They don't look very good--it's a simple Kraft paper patch with long-lasting adhesive--but for night time, who cares! I'm giving it a neutral rating for now until the month is over. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

HOW TO USE FROWNIES
I learned that you have to keep using these to see lasting results it is a training process and they really work if you use them every night until the lines are gone all day. The results keep lasting longer the longer you use the product. I love the patches and have a line free face for about $60. a year and botox is $600.00 each shot. Three boxes of Frownies last ma at least a year and I have a line free face. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Beauty secret is hard to use
I have tried Frownie's thru out the past 2 years. They smell like packing tape (which they are made out of, actually) and dry quite quickly and are very stiff. I have not passed the 2 hr. wear time. Cannot imagine enduring wearing them overnight and know my husband would have a fun remark if he viewed me wearing these. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Takes discipline
I wish I could say I really saw results but I just haven't had the discipline to put these one EVERY night for 30 days. I've gone maybe 10 days or so and haven't really noticed a difference; the only thing I did notice was that I don't frown AS MUCH to add any more depth to my current lines. — 4 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

No more lines
I had 2 angry lines between my brows--applied Frownies at night and during the day when possible. Two days later, the lines were much improved, so I'm anxious to see if they will disappear alltogether. Hoping they will save me a trip to a plastic surgeon. BTW, Frownies stick very well-- enough to make removal a bit difficult--I suggest you saturate them with lots of water and gently ease them off. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

I really wanted these to work.
I had heard from several different magazines that these were a well kept secret. I figured it was worth a few dollars to try them out. I'm very glad I didn't spend more than ten dollars on them. I used them every night for two weeks and never noticed any change. In the morning I woke up with the same slight wrinkles and dried on glue that was stubborn to wash off. Perhaps if I would have used them longer I would have seen more of a change, but I just didn't feel like it was worth it. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful
