Bonne Bell Gel Bronze
Editor's Rating & Review
Great for those gun-shy of facial self-tanners, this oil-free bronzer gives you a natural-looking glow without streaking, and it washes off easily. It acts like a stain, so you do have to wash your hands after applying (or use a makeup sponge to apply) -- not so great for on-the-go use. The color is sheer and build-able, though, so even the darkest of the three shades is foolproof.

Bonne Bell
This was gross and sticky to me. I wanted a gel to give me more of a sheer look, but this isn't very good. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

No shimmer
This Bronzer is orange-brown clear gel, so it makes gives you warm tan color, but without any shimmer. It also gives you natural look when applied sparingly, but only if you have a base tan to start with. It will look fake orange if you don't have a tan yet. It's rather sheer because the gel spreads out really evenly and thinly on your skin. It allows you to build your tan, but I don't recommend it because after one layer, it can streak easily, and it's hard to blend after that. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Lots of Control
I agree that this product is buildable, I feel that I have lots of control over how dark (or light), I want it to appear. I also feel that the color is super natural looking, far more warm brown than orange- also the lack of shimmer is a nice choice to have when it comes to bronzed. I have a NARS pressed powder bronzer too, and I honestly like the look of this gel stain much more. Plus a little goes a long way with me, so the amount in the tube feels generous. It also might be helpful to add that I've been using the darkest color. I have olive undertones, with brown hair, but can get pretty pale. At the height of winter I can give my blond, Casper-like husband a run for his money in the pale department. Which reminds me, I've used this gel bronzer on my legs before and with a little blending with lotion it worked out pretty well and saved me from the stark white legs that appear with the first shorts of summer. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful
