Not The Best but Not The Worst Either
I get ingrown hairs that itch when I shave my bikini area. I don't get them on my legs, thank goodness, but on my bikini area? Yes. Never fails if I don't do anything to prevent them. Promptly after shaving, I treat the area. It used to be that Aveeno's Repair Cream did wonders but I thought I'd try out Tend Skin. I use a cotton square on the area and then moisturize as normal. Well, it seems to do the job, although not as well as Aveeno's cream. And it sells like rubbing alcohol. (look at the ingredients. It IS rubbing alcohol! For a lot more $ than a bottle of rubbing alcohol! - jeez.)I can't say that it does wonders but I can't say that it's horrible, either even though I don't intend on buying more. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

bye bye ingrowns
Both my boyfriend and I use this, and we agree that it is wonderful for preventing ingrowns. Even ingrowns that have eluded this and sprouted up, they are gone in half the time when using this on them. I put a dab on a cotton pad and after removing hair (shaving, waxing) I smooth this on. In my opinion, it stings just a little, but I LOVE THIS! — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Perfection
I was introduced to this product by the lady who does my brazilian waxes. Must have! I'm not extremely prone to ingrowns and bumps, but I do get them on occasion. This usually resolves it pretty quickly. Just be careful and remember to apply it with a cotton pad if you are using it near your bikini line...it burns if it accidentally drips (if you catch my drift). Also, it's a good idea to check your skin out everyday before you put it on, as it tends to dry out your skin after prolonged use. When that happens, I usually cut back to every other day and apply a light moisturizer to the area. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Works for Me
I have a problem with my bikini line. But this stuff definitely eliminates the ingrowns usually in 1-2 uses. It does smell like alcohol & can be drying. But I just put on lotion afterward & everything is fine. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

A definite must-have
As a frequent bikini-waxer, I use this product religiously. My skin is very prone to ingrown hairs, and this is the only product I have found that really works. The only downside is that it can be a bit drying (especially in the winter), but it works so well that it's worth it. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Only thing that works for me!
Tend Skin is the only product that works on the horrible ingrown hairs along my bikini line- they're bad enough that I went to see a dermatologist! What did she prescrible....nothing, she told me to use Tend Skin :) Make sure you really follow the directions and use it morning and night. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Works well, but...
It got to be too expensive and not a necessity so I couldn't justify the price. I started using salicylic acid toner instead with nearly identical results — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Laser Hair Removal Trauma Savior
I am as hairy as a teddy bear. My mom might find that cute, but I don't. I can deal with stubble on my legs and other parts of the body where the Sun don't shine, but when you have a 5 o'clock shadow on your face, around the clock, you need help. So, I went ahead and got help! I started laser hair removal on my face. I was warned that stubborn little hairs might grow back in between sessions, and indeed they did. I was instructed not to pluck these hairs but to shave them. YES. SHAVE. Like a man, SHAVE. I was mortified. I did as they told me to do. After a couple of days I started to notice in-grown hairs on my face. It was very painful. My sister told me about an in-grown hair solution that she had been using for her bikini area called Tend Skin. I was hesitant to use it on my face, my very sensitive face. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot. Fast forward to 9 months of laser hair treatments and SHAVING, without a single in-grown hair or razor bumps on my face. Tend Skin really saved my skin. The application is simple; just a few drops on a cotton ball and dab it on the affected area after shaving. I took one star away because the smell isn’t exactly pleasant (It’s a very medicated smell). That chemical-y smell does fade after a few minutes. I removed one more star for being a tad overpriced. The small 4oz bottle retails for $20. For someone who shaves as often as me (everyday), it can become a bit pricey. Though, if you find it on sale at TJ MAXX or Marshalls, you luck out! Tend Skin works as a preventive measure for in-grown hairs and razor burns as well as to treat a problem area. YAY Tend Skin! — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

better than some salon products
This product is pretty good, though it does dry out your skin. I had been using a tiny pot of product from my waxing spot. but this is a much better value and deal. I use it once daily, usually in the morning, and a lotion at night to halt to the dryness — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
