Bobbi's Powder Blush is Overrated
I bought a coral-pink shade because it was absolutely gorgeous in the compact. It didn't glide effortlessly on my cheeks; I found it streaky and somewhat dry. The color had an artificial sheen to it (sort of a strange neon glow), and I generally turn to blushes with shimmer. There are better blushes for the same amount of money or less. blushing beauty
I bought this years ago in desert blush which is a soft medium pink shade. I have worn it down to the pan in parts, but still continue to use it. I also turned my mom onto it and she loves it as well. The color goes on smoothly and is highly pigmented. I still like this color, but would love to see if she has one in a peachy shade as that is where my eyes are drawn lately. Soft Pink Works For Fair-Skinned and Olive-Skinned Women
I used soft pink until about a year ago when I decided my dry skin needed a more moisture-friendly blush. Upon that epiphany, I gave my soft pink to my quarter-of-century daughter and I bought Pot Rouge in raspberry. I am a fair-skinned blonde and my daughter is an olive-skinned blonde and we both find the soft pink an attractive color on our skin. Excellent
I have used this brush since I was on BB's Make Up Team here in So. Cal. The "Apricot" is a great universal shade that gives everyone an instant glow. Looks great alone or over bronzer. Bobbi Brown definitely knows how to bring out the pretty in every face: healthy flawless looking skin, great concealer, and pink blush on the apple of your cheeks! Soft Pink lives on top of my vanity. It looks great on everyone because it's sheer enough to pick up your natural undertones, and just bright enough to add that healthy and youthful pop of pink that makes baby faces so enviable! It blends seamlessly, and wears all day without fading. While Soft Pink is my favorite, I love all of Bobbi's colors. Not crazy about it; Blotchy
It's alright. Not highly pigmented and did not exactly make me look like I was blushing from within. I bought one in Nectar, a shade I always buy and never failed me. But this time it did. I'm willing to give it another chance. It's not a total bummer. Amazing!
I absolutely love BB blush! It's very pigmented and finely milled, so it lasts a long time, and all of the colors are beautiful. I apply it with my Sonia Kashuk blush brush (a cheaper alternative than the BB brushes) and have great control of the application.
