    Oh Bobbi . . . .

    by Zuleikha (15 reviews)
    Trusted Review
Ok. So I was readin the reviews about these blushes, and I'd have to more or less agree. Alot of my reviews are probably going to be coming from a Darker Skin standpoint, because well. . . obviously I'm darker skinned so my needs will be different. As for Bobbi Brown blushes the best think is the variety of colors. And ther...e are a lot!... Alot of companies have blushes that are too shimmery and we all know that shimmer in blushes can be your enemy. With Bobbi you get a pretty nice array of colors that suit a multitude of skin tones. I use the Cranberry which is an everyday blush for me that I cant completly turn into a Night TIme type of blush... I actually think the fact that her blushed are highly pigmented is GOOD thing, mainly because with the right Brush you choose how you would like to wear her blush... I usually have to use more makeup for blush to show up.. but with this I can go light or go heavy and switch my look right up!.. CONS? it's a little pricy for the little pot. Nice colors dont get me wrong but it's still a little pot.. and if you have the "Blush Crush" like me, you'll understand what I mean. Best colors for darker skin? Cranberry/Current/Peony - for a pink flair thats really in now.. ( I know it's a scary color but it looks AMAZING on!). ....AlysseImani. December 4, 2007, 9:32 pm

    Nice blush but pricey

he blush is richly pigmented, so a little goes a long way on my very fair skin, and in fact, it's very easy for me to over apply it. Fortunately, the formula applies smoothly and blends well. I took off one lippy because I find the staying power to be average (it's not any worse or any better than other blushes I have used... from Maybelline, Mary Kay, and Elizabeth Arden). I'll probably look at other blushes when I need to purchase one again. Ingredients: Talc, Silica, Zinc Stearate, Peg-150 Distearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Tricaprylin, Polyethylene, Laureth-4, Lanolin, Beeswax, Methylparaben, Propylparaben. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Manganese Violet, Bismuth Oxychloride, Iron Oxides, Red 7 Lake, Mica, Ultramarines, Blue 1 Lake, Yellow 5 Lake, Carmine, Red 28 Lake, Yellow 6 Lake, Red 6 Lake. best blush, hands down

    by Elexsaria (13 reviews)
I have always lusted for that magazine cover look - the girls pictured always looked fresh and radiant. This blush is absolutely perfect. It is virtually goof-proof to apply (I also highly recommend Bobbi Brown's blush brush) and always look fresh. In the past with blushes I noticed them looking great right after applica...tion, but it would fade throughout the day. Not with this one. Another tip - blend two colors together. This is the secret to achieving that magazine cover look. Pale Pink and Tawny works on most skin tones, and it currently available together in a travel compact for $40 December 3, 2007, 1:10 pm

    Surprisingly natural

    by norva211 (3 reviews)
I've been using Bobbi Brown blush for a few years, but am still surprised at how natural the blush goes on. I'm fair skinned and as one reviewer noted, BB blush is highly pigmented. However, the blush definitely goes on lighter and looks very natural (even on my skin tone). December 7, 2007, 8:59 pm

    Nice but Not Amazing

    by AmberGretchen (102 reviews)

Honestly, I've not been wow'ed by the Bobbi Brown powder blush. The colors are nice enough, but many of them were too harsh or too brown for my fair skin. The texture was nice, but I wished it was a little less dry. December 3, 2007, 3:46 pm

    Amazing!

    by Linnylv (9 reviews)
I absolutely love BB blush! It's very pigmented and finely milled, so it lasts a long time, and all of the colors are beautiful. I apply it with my Sonia Kashuk blush brush (a cheaper alternative than the BB brushes) and have great control of the application. It doesn't last all day on my combination skin, but just a lit...tle dab is all I need to freshen up! July 13, 2009, 8:48 pm

Good Blush, Good Price for department store

    by tatielou (5 reviews)
This is overall a good blush and I also use one of their blushes as my bronzer because I dont like shiny sparkly bronzers. The one I use as a bronzer is sandstone and the one I use as my regular blush is pale pink. June 10, 2008, 7:57 pm

  • The diverse shades of Bobbi's Blush offer the best way to give cheeks color that looks fresh and natural. The silky formula glides on smoothly and evenly. Matte finish looks natural and offers long-lasting wear. Pale Pink Blush featured in "In Style" magazine's 'Beauty Know It All' section (August 2007). Back by popular demand: (while supplies last) Coral Blush offers a hint of shimmer that draws light to the face for a brightening effect that Bobbi calls the "Makeup Face Lift."
  • Directions

  • Start with a neutral shade of Blush - like the color of your cheeks when you're naturally flushed. Apply it on the apples of cheeks using the Blush Brush, blending up into the hairline, then downwards to soften. Finish with a pop of brighter blush, applied just on the apples of cheeks. For a shimmery glow on cheeks, follow with a Shimmer Brick Compact.
