I work in a fine dinning establishment and have many well to do customers. The other day I had a lady with the most georgous lashes I had ever seen. Well, I just had to ask her what kind she used. So while her husband excused himself to take a cell call outside I took the opportunity and popped the question. I got such a strange response from her.....laughter. She told me she was buying Bobbi Brown\'s Mascara and was unhappy. A friend told her about a very inexpensive mascara. (I like to use the word inexpensive rather than cheap. Cheap refers to the quality, not the price.) She said she was now using Lash Perfection by MAX Factor. She\'s had nothing but compliments on her lashes since using it and so have I. I could not disagree more with the editors review. I am a mascara addict and have tried one of everything at least once, sometimes twice. I would love it if the drugstore brands worked...........but you definitely get what you pay for. At $20 a tube, I was hesitant to once again throw my money away on yet another pricey mascara. However, I have been using Everything mascara for 6 months now, everyday, and I love the results i get everyday.

I like this mascara for everyday wear. It does not smudge on me nor does it clump during use. I can build a decent thickness/volume and length that is suitable for the office and most days but a dramatic look is a bit hard to achieve as this formula tends to get thick when you apply many coats whether dry or still wet. DiorShow is great for nights out when you may want that "wow" factor. May 6, 2008, 11:05 am

I'm a Bobbi Brown fan. I love many (if not all) of her products. I have to say that I tried this mascara and loved the results. I didn't experience a lot of smudging or flakiness, unlike others that I have tried. It went on smoothly without clumping and stayed all day, with minimal smudging in the evening. As with anything out there, try it out for yourself before you plunk down the money. Yes it's an extra step, but worth it. March 19, 2008, 7:52 am

Have to disagree. Everything is my everything. I've used all the crowd favs and Everything is the only mascara I've found that doesn't end up in an ugly smudge of black under my eyes after a long day of wearing it. I agree that it's not the most super plumping, lengthening mascara in the world but the 5 o'clock under eye shadow is much more offensive, especially if you plan to go out after work. This mascara is fine, but just a normal coat of color, not thickening by any means. It's a shame, Bobbi Brown used to have a great Thickening Mascara, which actually did so, didn't smudge, and came in beautiful colors as well. I hope they discontinue this one, something this company originally said they did not do, and bring back the Thickening Mascara. January 22, 2008, 11:34 pm
