      Feeding Frenzy

February 15, 2008, 5:38 pm A shampoo junkie, I have never repeated a purchase in my 24 year life span. Every bottle went out, a new one came in. This shampoo is the first to remain a staple for my hair. Perhaps it's the telling ingredients of yucca, sweet potato, artichoke, etc. that does it. The idea of literally soaking my hair in rich, nutritious food might psychologically enhance the effects. However, I still found that with repeated use, this shampoo did not lose its thunder. My hair is thick and coarse, tending to have oily scalp and brittle ends from coloring and chemical treatments. Day after day, this shampoo created a rich, thick, glossy essence to my hair that simply appeared that my once anorexic strands were finally being fed. February 15, 2008, 5:38 pm

Really good, but not great for DRY hair

I bought this shampoo because it was supposed to really help dry hair. I do think this shampoo is gentle, a small amount goes a long way, and it lathers up like a dream - but it hasn't left my hair as soft and silky as I had hoped. I think it's a great shampoo, but I don't think it is good for you if your hair is REALLY dry or chemically treated (my hair is highlighted.) November 30, 2007, 2:23 am

      Works fine, smells terrible

      by Proggoddess (3 reviews)
This shampoo cleans my hair just fine and my hair feels good. But the scent is just too "green," almost like a bitter lettuce spring mix rather than a refreshing tangy green scent. Kind of expensive for something that just washes down the drain. June 12, 2008, 10:24 am
