Worst product ever!
I used the Murad anti acne line and it made my skin the worst it has ever been. I had to go see a dermatologist after their products destroyed my skin with terrible redness and breakouts that I had never seen before. Cheap products with a not so cheap price tag. All Muad is is clever packaging and advertising. BEWARE!!! the cleanser is the worst it makes your skin dry and red and in turn causes you to breakout, which call me crazy a clarifying cleanser should not do.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

Leaves my face fresh and clean
I got this cleanser as part of the Murad acne kit and I love it. It has kind of a tingly feeling when you put it on, which is neat. But best of all, it cleans really well without being harsh or irritating. I used to get so many blackheads, but after using this cleanser, my skin is smooth and blackhead-free. One thing I want to mention... I'm not sure if it was the cleanser or a combination of th...read moree products in their acne kit, but when I first started using it, my skin majorly broke out. But, I know from trial and error with many other products that your skin will often do that when you start using a new system. Although the initial breakout was pretty awful, I'm happy that I stuck it out and kept using the product, because now my skin is completely clear. So if anyone else is considering using this, you may break out at first, but give it a chance! The only cleanser that has worked!
I've tried everything on the market from department store to drug store, even Avon, and The Murad Acne Complex was the only thing that cleared my skin up considerably! I also use the vitamin supplements that go along with the Acne Complex. The cleanser is drying but I find it isn't as bad as other products I've used. Cleared my skin!
Murad worked for me, it cleared my skin and stopped new acne from forming, though maybe a few small pimples will form from now and then,but it's nothing bad and goes away, unlike other cleansers it does not dry out the face and actually moisturizes as you clean, it works very well when used with conjunction to the Murad daily reigiem.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

1 year and going strong...
I started using the Murad line for acne-prone skin about a year ago. I never really had bad acne, but my skin was typical oily-combo and I would have a few break outs here and there. I've tried literally hundreds of face washes and treatment and nothing has been more consistent than Murad. salicylic acid is the key ingredient
This cleanser has the formulation to keep adult breakouts at bay. Salicylic acid is known to keep skin clear. That is based out of pure science. Of course any cleanser that is designed to clear up skin will also leave it dry, but if you are any woman over the age of 15 and not using a daily post cleanser moisturizer, you are really not doing yourself any favors.
