Lush Bath Bombs Reviews

A LUSH Experience, Truly!
My beloved mother had to constantly remind me that a great bath could pretty much relieve most of the stress life handed me. And she was right. I am in an automatic habit of turning on the shower in the morning, but now a few nights a week (or mornings if I have time to spare), I indulge with LUSH-cious bath bombs like "Butterball," "Big Blue," and "Bon Bomb." The pleasures to these somewhat pricey products are watching the color changing the bath water, inhaling the sensual aromas, and the fizz! Some, like "Butterball," are ultimately moisturizing. I have to say that when I step out, I generally leave most of my problems going down the drain . . . at least for a short while. — 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

These changed my life!
I absolutely love these! I was never really a bath person until my boyfriend bought me some of these. It made bathing a luxurious experience, nice and fragrant and FIZZY! They are kind of spendy per use compared to other bath products, but they're worth it (and are cheaper than going to a spa). It's so fun watching them fizz and turn the water colors. I've tried tons of different kinds, and will keep repurchasing. My favorites are Dragons Egg (which has gold glitter in it and is super fun), Ickle Baby Bot (a robot shaped one for kids), and Think Pink (has heart shaped confetti). Can't live without them! — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not a big "Big Blue" fan...
Lush Big Blue Bath Bomb was my first Lush product. To be frank, Big Blue was just okay. The scent was decent, but I expected the scent to be more like a refreshing ocean scent like Davidoff coolwater, but it was a bit powdery and perfumey. Not at all unbearable though. It was just different from my imagination. I liked the fizz, and the bomb turned the water beautiful blue color. The floating seaweed pieces did not bother me, but yeah it was a weird experience. It still created a nice relaxing bath, but as soon as I drained the water, I had to clean up the seaweed bits that remained on the bottom of the tub. :( So much for the relaxing bath. Also, unfortunately, it was not very moisturizing. I needed to use a body butter as a follow-up. A few months later I got a Butterball Bath Bomb as a gift, and it was more moisturizing. However, if I want a fizzing bath experience with the similar price range, I still prefer Japanese bath tablet. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Love!
These are excellent. If you're particular like me, choose carefully. Some of the scents are great, but if it has glitter or anything else that will be left floating in my tub once the bomb has fizzed out, I'm not interested. Sex Bomb is my favorite. I find the Sakura fragrance to be very lovely and relaxing, and Butterball has a wonderful vanilla scent and is very moisturizing. — 4 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

A real pleasure
Whenever I've had a stressfull day, I make a trip to Lush and pick out my favourite Lush Bath Bomb, Twilight. The heavenly smell of lavender, the fizziness and the fact that it makes my bathtub turn purple with little sparkles everywhere instantly calms me and makes for the perfect relaxing bath. A bit on the pricy side but for a product thats 100% natural and handmade and vegan (I'm a vegan) it's definately worth it. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

great store, great products
i happened into one of these stores and was surprised by the huge variety of bath additives they offer. plus theyre all great for you, enviro concious and all that great stuff. i got a bunch for my kids, [2 boys one is 8 and one is 10], in a big variety of scents. i went back and got some more bc they love them so much! they especially love the glitter ones that bubble up, and the blueberry ones that fizz. and white wedding. theres alot of stuff in that one, even butterflies! and they dont irritate their sensitive skin, even tho they love to stay a long time in the tub. its a great way to help keep them interested in baths, bc theyre getting to the age where theyre not anymore! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Special treat!
Lush bath bombs are wonderful! They are a bit pricey so I often break them in half or thirds and still have a decadent bath for much less. They are often heavily scented so if you are looking for something that isn't, find another bath bomb. I love how much they fizz and bubble and find myself lightly scented for the day or night after my bath. Most of them are also pretty moisturizing. One of the negatives is that they often leave gunk behind in your tub. Some of them it is just a film, but other bombs have glitter, flowers and other things inside of them that will leave you scrubbing your tub out. Overall though it is tough to beat these guys for bathing luxury. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great stuff
These bath bombs deserve every bit of their great reputation. The scents are amazing, they're fun to use, and many of the formulas are vegan. They make a great little indulgence--the only reason I don't give them a 10 is that I find them too expensive to use regularly. — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Fun relaxing bath time.
Overall I love these but I have learned to be particular in which Lush Bath Bombs I purchase. Once I used one that had large chunks of glitter in it and well some of those glitter pieces can still be found around the bathroom. I don't know how but something about glitter it just gets everywhere! Aside from that though I have loved all the other non-glitter bombs I've used. It is occasionally annoying to have this weird colored ring around the tub afterwards from the color of the bomb, but really it cleans away easily. The experiance of taking a bath with one of these is always fun and relaxing. The scents are great and I really enjoy the experiance. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
