just a scrub
candice19 (42 reviews)I wanted something that was cooling in the shower, and what better way to feel all over tingle than a scrub? I got this product as a gift and decided it was the perfect time to use it. The consistency is interesting - it's almost a paste of salt, not like other scrubs that have the separated oil and sugar/salt. I like how you can really just scoop a dab out, but that dab doesn't go very far. I had to scoop for ever part of my body - arms, legs, etc etc. The salt grains didn't dissolve quickly, which I found nice as I wanted to actually scrub. To my dismay, there was NO warming or cooling sensation :( I found it rinsed off very easily, and didn't leave a greasy tub. After getting out of the shower and toweling off, the scrub did was a scrub does - it exfoliated well. But, a lack of oils left my skin "normal" and not moisturized. I suppose the scrub doesn't claim that, but if I'm instructed to use it in place of my cleanser, I would almost expect some sort of moisturizing quality. I was shocked to find out this rub cost $24. Yes, it's a large tub. But I'd never buy it. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

other bath and body works scrubs are better
kathipink (13 reviews)Although I adore the traditional body scrubs this store has, this is not something I would buy again. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

great
sillysuperdog (18 reviews)I get wet in the shower jump out then scrub from neck to toe with this stuff, I get my boy friend to get my back. It does have a warming/burning sensation but nothing unbearable. Of course it is salt so be aware that it will sting even the tiniest paper cut you didnt even know you had. After the rinse my skin is just so incredibly soft, I love it. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
